Really? Thereâs a shit storm of them in Michigan every so often, figured thereâd be some in Canada too. Remarkably loud for such small creatures. Watched a robin snatch one up the other day and it sounded like a cell phone vibrating on a countertop in the birds beak

i love sitting outside durring cicada season. such a peaceful sound 
I just thought it was a passive noise in nature as a child, didnât realize theyâre relatively rare, would hear them often on the couple hours drive up north to my grandparents house

My step dad always told me that was Mother Nature recharging the sun âŚalways heard them most high noon !
i grew up in Wisconsin, and i can remember hearing cicadas every year. always loved it. always teased my sister with the dead shells. she thought they were gross

i tried that once, it was my first sample from my first harvest after i moved home from college. I thought they worked well in college, but they didnât do shit for me that time.

i only remember cicadas here once. you could hear a shit ton of them, atleast for a few days. and youâd find their bodies on the ground everywhere too.

Cicadas vibrate their thorax in and out to achieve their 100dB+ mating call.
One of my first camping trips a girl got one stuck in her hair and she was not taking the situation gracefully. I canât remember which of the two was loudest, the girl or the cicada.

ok my OG peeps, i have a question i need a little help with. my buddy has harvested 2 different plants now (in a tent.). both of which he has let me try and both my wife and i think it has a weird bad taste. the only thing i can figure out is that i know he sprayed neem oil for spider mites. is that what we are tasting? i thought i remembered some chat about âwashingâ or âbathingâ your plants at harvest but not sure. either way, could neem oil ruin the bud taste and smoke? i need some OG HELP!
