Notes adjustments to feeding schedule
Using jacks
20\20\20 from young seedling to week 2 after flip raising the ppm according to level of growth 300 to 500 npk = 1/1/1
Week 3 through week 5 of flowering jacks 10\30\20 ppm 's around 500 to 800 npk = 1/3/2
Weeks 6 through 7 take 1\2 teaspoon per gallon of 10\30\20 and mix 1\2 teaspoon per gallon of that 5\12\24 = 133 npk 800 to 900 ppm
Weeks 8 through 9 use that 5\12\24 1teaspoon per gal 900 to 1050 ppm Npk = 1/2/5
Week 10 to finish cut feed in half and decrease as you go or just flush till finish
Keep ph around 6
I need to do a really detailed log I want to teach my kid one day only if the wife approves lol
Thank you very much!! When you mention the PPM is this including the PPM of your plain water? Think I may need an RO system. Hard well water and PPM is 398 out of the tap. Also do you add any cal/mag?
Thanks for all your help!!
The ppm includes your water I recently got a new meter and it’s much lower then the old meter my water is 94 ppms my old meter said 294 a big difference
I do have cal mag and Epson salts and add a little bit in veg or as I see fit
Epson salts increase the ppm quit a bit
But usually when there’s a deficiency it’s caused by ph so I make sure ph is good every time

Hi all Question to all
The humidity is 74 percent in the big tent with the Octopot Reservoirs are filled so there’s like 24 gallons of water in there , now plants look very happy and are bulking up nicely Should I get a dehumidifier ?
I have 6 in exhaust fan running full time in all tents , I increased the air intake and have 2 fans circulating air in the big tent and 1 in the small tent
Now same room the soil tent is at 50 percent humidity so iam thinking that all the water in the res is the cause and circulation and defoliation will help
Now am I worried for nothing ? Maybe since I’ve run Octopots 4 runs and maybe just never noticed this
Ok @GramTorino @ifish @BarefootAndBlazed
What do you think
I may need to vent air out of tent room ( no windows) into garage , it may help?
Yes I would lower it : )
You have good air movement , but I still wouldn’t chance it
If your just recirculating the air in the tent room , then yes I would change that to venting out of tent room , humidity should drop and you will increase co2 etc ambient temp in room willdrop maybe also tho ( something to think about )
Is there a passive intake vent into the tent room or would it just be pulled in from gap under door ?
I try to run a consistent 60% humidity in the flower room veg room a bit higher is ok both rooms are sealed with air circulation. My humidity will jump after watering but the dehumidifier looks after the spikes .
I agree 100%
Be on the lookout for lights off spiking of RH. For me, huge swings can = PM.
Depending on environmentals, I use a combination of venting and dehuey. Venting is often more efficient and effective than my 50 pint dehuey.
4x8x8.
Lights on. I know when I get the temp, rh, Co2, leaf surface temps just right.
My RH is higher due to what I assume is at least partially, increased transpiration.
They drink more and thrive.
If your temps are upper 80’s or low 90s that 74% might be… Okay-ish but definitely risking mold. I’d run the dehumidifier if it was me. Get it no higher than 60% as long as temps are low 80s at most… And like others said, if it’s that high with the lights on it’s gonna be maxed out with the lights off so at the least would likely need the dehumi for night time ^^
Thanks all for your quick response
I’ll start with installing a 6 in fan as an exhaust from the closet to the garage , also increased the incoming air to the fans maximum speed fan I have on hand and I have already have the vent hole cut so let’s see what happens before I buy a dehumidifier
There’s total of 3 exhausted fans with carbon filter so it get hot in there
But now temps have been in the low 80 s when lights are on
@ifish, @OleReynard,
I started with the exhaust fan and I feel we are on the right track
It’s already dropped 3 degrees in temps and the humidity in the tents are 70 degrees down 4
So I’ll keep an eye open and see
@GramTorino
That new knife was a big help thanks , I was looking at a 30 pint on amazon maybe a 70$ experience ( ok no new seeds this month maybe)
@HolyAngel
I try to keep humidity at 60isk in the soil tent
But in the other tents with the Octopots it’s not easy
And I agree humidity isn’t the 70 ‘s with temperature up to low 90s are usually no issues I’ve see my tent get up to 100 degrees lights on in the hot summer we get through it but there’s stress issues , I most likely will get a small dehumidifier it can only help
Thanks all
Paps
I constantly run at 40-45% fall winter spring summer I’m down
Octopots not looking to keen to me anymore way too much humidity to contend with.
Way too much
It’s usually not this bad but it’s raining as well here
They are a very easy system to run
Plus you tent is bustin at the seams lol
Just sounds to me too much moisture sitting.
I’ve gotta pretty tight enviro, that I’ve brought along thru the years.
Climate c o ntrol is essential.
Most manly types consider that a letter opener. Lol
Glad it’s of use.
