Also What’s your soil mix ?

In the Octopots this run straight up pro mix bx nothing else it’s got mycorrhizae in it and perlite just what came in the bale
Do you think the HP will kill the mycorrhizae?

I assume it will as mycorizae is a living thing , but I know nothing about it really as I never use it
Maybe roots acelorator ( house and garden ) would be better to use to boost your roots and maybe peroxide might not affect that , but I don’t use that either , anything organic in my Rez makes it go off quicker etc so I avoid them
If I was using octo with salts , I would be tempted to add an airstone : )

Found some more things to read on HP seem like a cure all lol
I may give it a try I am not sure if it will kill the mycorrhizae in the soil but according to the article attached it can be used as a fertilizer it can’t be all bad.

Mycorizhae is a fungus

( Fight Fungal Infections
Does hydrogen peroxide kill fungus? Yes, similar to neem oil for plants, you can use hydrogen peroxide to combat every kind of fungal infection that is affecting your plants. )

Copied from that link

Yeah just finish the read throu @ifish
Once it wicked up it’ll kill all the good bacteria in the soil mix @ShiskaberrySavior
It’s great info to keep in the back of your head

Just say there’s a switch to pro mix with no mycorrhizae in it Just substright Inert substance
Then it could be beneficial adding extra oxygen to the Rez
But just knowing it can fight mold and other problematic issues

Be nice to see a comparison of two clones with
an octo with mycorizhae
And an octo with airstone and peroxide and maybe some root acelorator if it was not affected by the peroxide : )
Not sure which hg root excelorator would be best tho , silver or gold

Now that I have the 5 th Octopot I have it separate from the main tent I may do that next grow
Just need to find the medium the stores around here are not set up for what we do oh well I’ll amazon shop once more lol
I’ve been wanting to try the air stone in the Rez

Amazon and eBay are great : )
I might get some silver to try out , just for something to do lol

Oh say 7 since I transferred the CB into the Octopot
She was topped and is responding well
Feeding 20/20/20 plant so far the roots should hit the Rez soon

The young ones have yet confirm sex yet I think I’ll clip 2 clones from each put 1 of each in both veg tent and flowering tent don’t want to waste more time they show sex by the time the clones root in the veg tent weed out the males and move forward woo hoo

The boys are coming along in the flowering tent there’s a bit of a deficiency but a little calmag will clear it up

I always use H2O2 in the seed to seedling stage. It acts as a sterilizer of sorts that can benefit the seedlings. After that I would be nervous about it killing bacteria. Not sure how it could differentiate otherwise.

Maybe it’s in the amount you add to the res to get it balanced.

Hi bro
Yeah for the soil guys it a no go
But for the hydro guys a win

But if I use something inert in the Octopot it could be something to try like fish said do a side by side

I’ve been using Garden Friendly Fungicide as an alternative to hydroguard.

Used H2o2 when I had root rot issues on my boring outdoor coco run.

If it’s a funguscide even if garden friendly it’s gonna kill his mycorizhae tho as its a fungus , , may not kill the good microbes tho which would be good ,idk I know nothing of organics

I would fire an airstone into one of the octos this run and compare to the other three , sure if it’s looking to be crap you can just lift it out and plant should recover quick , no harm really done

I think I may run 2 clones from the same mom and slip an air stone in one may help with heat stress in the summer

I had a closer inspection of the roots and opted to not add any hydrogen peroxide I’m leaning more to too hot of root zone so I’ve shaded the pot topped the res with 600 ppm of 70 degree water and will check its progress .

Maybe buy some of them gel solid plastic ice packs , you put in picnic coolers around it , in behind that silver , if foil not enough
