Here we go, before i enter again in the submarine ^^
A 4x4 handle more than i was expecting, over 100 specimens. Actually 1111 (121), maximum 1212 (144).
It’s better to stay at 100 specimens / 4*4 imho to keep a decent space between the tent’s walls and the plants. For datas it’s pretty cool also, natural percentage.
If you’re young and full of energy, experienced or not, this is the way to do it for your very first time. I’m very serious. Doing it in a GHE table is wasting yield as hell, let it for washed old growers with back destroyed.
Why it’s intensive ? Because the twos liters of medium is pretty fast to dry, specially in plain flowering time. Depend on the strain used but it can be as quick than only 24 hours. Add to it than at least one time per week, you should clean the space and the plants. Impossible to do it without “to empty” the tent totally, too dense. But the promise of the easy big harvest is too sexy to don’t be experienced at least one time in your life of grower if you’re enough young and full of motivation. With the GHE table, i will do my best to expose the concept and its potential. With grammers, ratios etc … it’s time to debunk all the funk around the SOG. Never-ending loop lol
Now, if you can’t wait to experience it, let’s share a trick to best manage the hand watering without being a slave or to transform the tent in a lake.
Behind the bottle, just place another one cutted to be able to handle 500ml of solution/water/wathever you give. The half liter is important.
That’s the “working bottle”, where the root mass will make its magic. Try to cut at 2liters (not more, important, but not less like the picture).Drill holes in corners, i personnally cut the corner with a cutter to have holes of around 1 centimeter.
Then, cut a second bottle to be able to handle an half liter of water. Place the “working bottle” on it. Each time you hand water, the drain will go down to the second bottle and the roots will colonize it. It will learn you how to water well your cannabis also … more than 500ml drain on 2L : over watered, reduce the stock on bottom to let a little space of air between the bottle #1 and the water of the bottle #2. Never let sit the plant on water.
Don’t over-do it then, until three weeks of flowering time it’s pretty slow to dry the “carrots of medium”. After that … well it’s the daily hell lol
Algea : you will not avoid it in this configuration. But you can reduce drastically it in increasing the opacity of the bottle or directly, using a bottle which don’t let the light enter. Remember than algea are very hungry for O², and O² is something like a “yield activator” for your plants.
It was the little teasing for the more brave of you, i’ve to wait a couple of months before starting the table …
all the best for your crop !
