Garden-Buddy's Basement

Revving up for the next round. Getting ready to dig into some of the things i picked up from the Rogue Valley while visiting recently. Gonna be a bunch of Mr Soul stuff if it pops and a couple other things.

I have C99, Apollo 13, Rosetta Stone, and some C99 crosses. Also have one Purple Urkle F1 seed from pirates of the emerald triangle.

I will probably try to pop a couple few of each, all faster flowering stuff, so that is nice. Maybe i will find a mom or two, maybe not, they’d have to be exceptional.

Tried out some of the Colombian Gold. Not bad for airy-spider-mite-infested bud, :joy:

Ok, got some babies now, so i need to make sure they have got a nice place to tuck into.

Mixed;10 cups ewc, 6 cups malted barley, 5 cups insect frass, and 2.5 cups each of; neem seed cake, karanja cake, crustacean meal in a bucket and added to all my soil beds. Then i watered it in with; coconut powder, plant probiotics, and TM7, broadcast a bunch of 12 seed cover crop.

Here are the babies, im gonna keep them under one light in these buckets for a few days to let all my amendments get activated a little. I have 4 Brother’s Grimm Rosetta Stone, a Purple Jaeger, and 3 Blockhead BX.

Was gonna add quillaja with the coco, TM7, and probiotics, but it melted in the package. Maybe I could dissolve a chunk in some warm water?

Pretty excited about this round, faster flowering stuff, and i will keep on top of the pest control better. Should be less pressure going into late fall and winter, we have had one frost so far, thats got to help right?

I keep my soil very basic since I run Octopots where the plants are fed via the reservoir. Your soil looks like it takes a lot of effort to create, but I bet your plants love it! Do you supplement nutrition while they’re growing or are you water-only?

I reamend the beds between runs with dry amendments, and will add microbes during veg and flower, plus build-a-bloom during flower.

I could probably get away with more, but haven’t been soil testing, so don’t want to overdo it with anything and get out of balance.

These guys are gonna just chill in here for a few more days.

Put up a screen and pinched some tops. It has been a week since i put these in the beds. I also sprayed some more soap water on everything.
Blockhead BX f2

Rosetta Stone
Tigers Mints and an Apollo 13.
Will be putting these in the dirt soon, they are looking really vigorous. The Apollo 13 topped itself.
Trying to get the blumats dialed in better. This bed got up to like 185, before i broke down and adjusted the carrot, then it was at 29, now ive got it around 80-90. I will keep tweaking it.

Put the Tiger Mints and my one Apollo 13 in beds today. Also adjusted the blumats in the bed ive been monitoring. Then grabbed some Colombian Gold to clean up and have on hand.

It is scraggly and larfy but pretty tasty with a long lasting high.

Bed next to the one that has been swinging wildy on the blumat sensor is stable at 87/88. I dont why the other one is reading all over the place. The plants look happy in both beds though.

Then there is this guy over here, jaeger x purple? Seed from Oregon buddy. I will probably cull it if it doesn’t snap out if it.

Got another screen up. Still having to adjust the blumats. The Apollo 13 continues to not be thriving, and the scraggly mystery seed isn’t pretty but does seem to be growing, so it will stay for now.

Switched blumat system off of rain barrel water to filter water from inside, since the outside water source is currently frozen. I will keep it on filtered water from here on out until spring.

Mowed the lawn(trimmed cover crop away from the plants)! And tucked leaves under the net.

…and this one might be a male, it is one of the Rosetta Stone plants, i could be wrong.

These beds have really popped off the last few days.

I don’t know what is up with this plant though. Not much longer and I’ll switch to flower and rogue the males.

What’s your humidity like, the leaves look a little puckered between the veins and the spots could be nute burn from taking up too much nutrients with the extra water they are uptaking to try and make up for the possible low rh.

Over watering can make them look like that as well.
