Love the garden looking great! I bet that black triangle hash is heard real good things about that cultivar
Thanks for stopping by. The Black Triangle f2 made some super sticky flowers. The one I grew was very “hashy”. I’m looking forward to popping some more of those to see what else is in there.
Going into week 5 on 12/12. The Lebowskies did get a little water stress couple weekends ago when a spaghetti line got kinked while I was out of town, but other than that it has been pretty smooth sailing. I fed with buildabloom, bio-phos, and coconut powder several days ago, and added a thick layer of shredded paper mulch.
I’m starting to think the blumat digital water sensor I got is worthless. Mine never seems to be giving an accurate reflection of the moisture in my beds, always reading ridiculous numbers 200-500s even after zeroing out in water. Do I need to wrap it in moss or something? It seemed to be giving more accurate readings when I first got it. I don’t know. The plants seem happy though.

Turned over the compost pile today and layered in some rabbit poo. Kicked my ass! I have some good shit though.
Looking Good!

Quicksilver is looking good right now.
I’ve had some watering issues this time around, especially the bed that the Lebowskies are in. Had some dry out, so I opened up the valves and let it go full blast for a day and then mixed up some coconut water and bio phos to treat everyone with. Gonna need to reset everything when these are done.
Gran Pur Pur
Spirit Train F2
3QS, 1Leb, 2 ST males rooted …and I got a proper clone dome.
Cruising right along in the middle of week 6, I think. Humidity has been 65-70 percent (hoping this will drop when summer really kicks in) and temps have been 70-78f. Some lower leaves have drooped and died because of the watering issues I’ve been having but the plants seem mostly happy overall. Buds are starting to fatten up for sure. So, we will just keep in trucking and then perform some system maintenance before the next round.
quicksilver.

Middle of week 7 now. Everything is on cruise control. Really beautiful stuff happening. The Quicksilver is going to finish last and I need to make time to take the Gran Pur Pur down in the next couple days. The Spirit Train F2 has a very tidy architecture. Also need to get better at maintaining clones and mother plants in my veg tent. Here are some pictures of what’s growing on:)

Great looking plants. That pur pur looks like a ducks foot cross. My clone isn’t that great either, but leaving them in a glass of water for a day or two before putting into medium seems to have helped.
Yeah, it might not be pure Pur Pur. I just grew it out for fun from a couple seeds I had, smells nice, might be tasty smoke.
I had a few bag seeds that I’ve grown I wish I would of kept around. If you like that’s all that matters.
Things are getting floppy over here! Put some “yoyos” on the Quicksilver. I’m back and forth on scrogging the next round. I’d prefer to grow stuff that can hold itself up mostly. Does scrogging a canopy increase yield and quality? Is it any more hassle than strings or “yoyos”?
I’m probably just lazy,
The Lebowskies are standing tall so far, we’ll see if they flop or not.
Something has been munching on some leaves, not sure what it is yet. Will be keeping a close eye. Pur Pur will be coming down very soon.
Spirit Train F2 just keeps on trucking, getting some purpling going on. Everybody’s pistils are just starting to turn. This is the most exciting time for me!
These mother fuckers! Isopods can definitely cause damage at multiple stages of life, I’ve had them kill seedlings and I’m sure this shit that I noticed too late really set the Gran Pur Pur back. I should’ve looked at them closer, they didn’t look happy, but I just thought they were being difficult, or were just not going to produce because they are mutants.
WOW!
I’ve never seen damage like that… Amazing.
They must be starving or that Gran Pur Pur is really tasty.
Cheers

I had that thought too, that they were hungry, though I had some cover crop and chop and drop leaves in there. Have also been using DE.
When I reset everything, I’ll physically remove as many as I can, put down cover crop and then more DE. Hopefully that will knock em back some.
I don’t think I have ever seen them attack a living plant, normally find them in rotten wood and leaf debris. I have them in some of my pots, never had a problem.
I’ve always heard that they aren’t much of a problem, but I think their population in these pots has gotten out of hand. Planning to do a hard reset when everything comes down. I’ve had some issues with my blumat sensors too, so gonna pull those out clean them up and wrap them in straight peat moss to help dial them in better. I’ll vacuum out as many isopods as I can at that time. Then reseed cover crop before putting anything else in. Just focus on popping some of these hard to germinate seeds that I have for while, try and get some unique stuff going while I get these other issues ironed out.
Took some clones of Lebowski and Quicksilver and have some aloe tech going on some of the Snowhigh stash.
Spirit Train F2 is getting very close.
Lebowskies are right behind the ST
Quicksilver could have a bit yet
…and I got a tail popping out on the golden white grapefruit I’m trying aloe tech on, nothing yet with the Snow Mountain, moved em all to wet paper towels on my heat sink, temp stays at 80f.
Quick little update, my Spirit Train F2 has sprouted a on it’s top cola, but the trichomes are just turning cloudy. I think I’m going take it down pretty soon.
The others are just cruising along and I’m quite excited to have been able to put 2 Golden White Grapefruit seeds in to flora flex blocks and into the clone dome after they sprouted tales!
