looking at the leaf shape on the two biggest.
looking good. closer to mom traits. i have been wondering how strong she would be in the genetics crapshoot. still early to tell on overall structure.
will see how much of dad shines through when the big fan leaves come along. things to note are the length of fan leaf stem and overall size of fans.
we shall wait and see. (pretty exciting for me!)
everything looks nice and healthy. appreciate you testing and reporting.
ps: interesting pronounced fan leaf ridges/serrations on the mutant.

Awesome GDP grow here @Headies12green
Can’t wait to see what comes of it!
That little mutant is almost curling some leaves sideways instead of up/down. I had a plant or two do that earlier this year and they grew out of it quickly, can’t remember which strains did it
Hey @Til_Valhalla I still have that XOX GDP pollen and haven’t forgotten you. Project is still in the pipeline to use it with my cut of GDP. When I have things going I will keep you in the loop! And @Originalweedman if you’d like a tag, along with anyone else

make sure you keep that pollen super dry. looks like @Originalweedman had a problem with his batch got wet and was clumping up when he tried to use it. i don’t think he had a successful run as a result.

Thanks for that head’s up
I have not opened the pollen bag yet. But I did store it in my desk drawer for about a month after I received it, maybe even a tad longer. Didn’t realize pollen has a much shorter window than seeds when stored at room temp.
Hopefully it’s still viable
Now I have it stored in a ziplock sandwich baggie w/ desiccant packs also sealed in the bag. Small bag is in a larger ziplock freezer bag, also with desiccant packs. Then I stashed it in the back of my freezer.

Oh yeah man glad to give these genetics a run and looks like first plant is setting up to be a female, knock on wood. Still a little early but from my experience males will either shoot up before the others and/or sacs reveal before any light change once it reaches 6ish weeks. Loving the indica hybrid appearance so far just what I was hoping for

perfect.
dry and frozen, or at least dry and cold should keep it.
i packed all the little baggies with some rice inside to keep it dry in transit.
every little bit helps. any moisture will render it useless.

mom traits: you should see some sex signs by (mature) 5th or 6th internode.
dad traits: he stayed hidden for a LONG time. the original male had been up-potted twice before revealing… all the while thinking he was a she and very excited about the structure.
i think you will be very pleased if mom traits are prevalent in this cross. the flavors and other effects you’re looking for were very much present.

Oh cool that’s interesting
Yeah , I doubled checked and even tried to hit a couple buds again and so far nothing. I think the weather played a part in it which is such ashame . The gdp mom I have going is an absolute beast. I will give 00 seeds company a huge shout out. I m super happy I still have 4 fem seeds left. What a strain.I scrog d her . I can t fit the whole plant in the picture. Shes a beast.

Hell yeah, same here. I actually cloned this plant and the clone survived the flood tht took out 80% of my indoor stuff. I managed saving all my favorite plants . I ll give out some snips to u guys if u want them . Just need a couple weeks to get her bigger.

i think if there is this much interest in GDP we should be doing a collective pooling of resources for a community based OG seed run.
we all seem to have select females, what we need are males.
i would say if you haven’t run any of OG @Shoreline 's seed, now is a good time. i can personally vouch for his GDP in reg form. i have been looking for a shoreline male. i have a few seeds left. i have full confidence ANY male coming from shoreline’s line will be suitable for breeding with your select female(s).

No goddamn you people remove every comment ASAP… haha jk go ahead man I don’t have much to post until they get a little bigger anyways. Please feel free to post any photos of other GDP grows or genetics I always enjoy checking them out

agreed. but see if there is interest first. otherwise it can stay small scale as it currently is.
already have
we’ll see if interest grows. there are a few other OGers currently messing with GDP… there might also be some fem pollen floating around as well (don’t quote me on that. was a stoned late night reading some older threads, but i thought i saw someone mention they had reversed a gdp female)
if and when the time comes, yes, a centralized thread for the project is in order.

that last set of photos you posted, the bottom photo is mutantor™ is it not? looks like it decided to unf^ck itself. gotta wonder if the mutation was a genetic thing or something to do with the way it shed its seed coat after dirtburst? did it have troubles with it’s helmet when it popped?

Yeah the beige grow bag is the mutant seedling but now seems to be completely growing out of it. That particular seed got off to a slow start possibly due to fluctuating temp and humidity but no shell issues early on. Also my veg area was a little overcrowded so all of the remaining plants have improved since.

Really like what I’m seeing so far out of the first 3… Sturdy dark green Indica hybrid structure easy to deal with.

they look nice and healthy.
i’m also starting to see some subtle differences in leaf shape. seems like a really good blend of mom and dad. shape of mom, fatness of dad. still early to tell, but encouraging to see.
on mutantor™ - note the length of the stem on the 3 fingered leaf? how far out it protrudes from the main stem? keep an eye on that. BIG trait for GDP in general, but was super pronounced on dad.
how long are you planning to veg them?
