GDP hybrid grow

Week 2 coco mix female

Well coco mix female just cruising along and other one seems to be glutton for punishment haha pretty much every type of pest known to cannabis harassing her but will give it another week before deciding fate. Also last 2 regs ended up female and just transplanted so will upload photos later. My environment is slightly stressful with open doors and animals everywhere so when I re run these last seeds going to be more careful with exposure. Nice grapey skunk and fruity terps coming through so nice potential

i have the same issue. i am sure most of the dogs transport bugs in on a regular basis. i went all “laboratory clean” my 2nd year growing inside. and still got bugs. took me a while to figure out if was the dogs. where they DON’T go (zone1) is where i have no bugs. where they hang out all the time (zone 2 and zone 3) i typically have a bug battle on my hands as winter approaches.

when we have to bring all the outside (potted) plants in (before the frost) is when i usually have 2nd indoor bug battle. each year gets a bit better as i continue to add to my prevention approach(es).

lucky! great fem/male ratio for growing flower.
how many seeds do you have left?

Oh yeah man I think the 5 that made it thru veg all ended up being female which is really nice. 1 or 2 didn’t make it past seedling and that was most likely due to cramming multiple into a single container using recycled soil but otherwise no issues. 4 or 5 left I believe

Just transplanted and flipped last 2 regs and females again. Starting to improve after some lackluster recycled soil during veg

These two have recovered nicely and pretty sure my previous batch of soil was causing all kinds of nutrient issues. Berry terps all the way on both

no fuel scents (yet)?
may come later. still early.

glad the others recovered and on their way.

They have some of that I like to call hashy undertone which others can describe as gassy. Def reminds me of a few other purple strains with those type of terps

Little update on the 3 gals… nice frost level and grapey terps. Def going to veg next run much longer instead of quick flip to flower but enjoying the genetics regardless. Thanks again to @Til_Valhalla

that looks frosty. is it greasy/sticky also?

i just harvested my indoor mom clones. trimmed them up yesterday/last night. so sticky. gummed up the snips. got 3 or 4 “scissor hash” sessions just from 2 2gal buckets of clones. tasty.

Oh yeah man big time tacky sticky bud and surrounding sugar leaves. Should be a really nice smoke… Other two girls in organic soil mix so should be interesting to compare. Also seem to be different pheno than coco skunky gal

awesome. sticky/stanky/frosty are GREAT traits to pass on to progeny.

yeah… had to expect some variations in phenotypes. these are F1s. and they technically don’t share complete genetic lines… just names. (kens x norcal)
either way the selections have spoken. there have GOT to be some gems in there. that frosty one is looking pretty gemmy IMO. very interested/excited to see how they all finish up. once again, appreciate you testing these for me. thanks.

Oh you’re definitely doing me a favor man I was just reminiscing ab genetics one day so really appreciate it. Looks like the coco pheno has plenty of purple on the edges of leaves and if we didn’t have such a warm weather period she would probably turn that typical pastel color.

well, as fate would have it, the xox breeder was selecting for color. (he ended up taking the selections of his GDP to breed with an extremely purple purple kush) his was far more purple than mine. a deep dark purple. mine would only go purple (fans and sugar leaves) if the temps were low. (hard to do here)
so will be interesting to see if you get any purple coloration from dad’s genes.

Dam. Nice to have something to compare GDP to. I have 4 going and they are really crazy looking leaf structure. One has a tiny yellow stripe on the edge of one leaf.

Hope you dont mind me posting in your thread….
Heres 4 gdps, the crossed out one is bubblegum.
