WHY I wash my outside bud. Been pouring here, humidity 90 % saw some bud rot…cutting my loss’s on 3 plants.
Learned the hard way…better to chop n save now than throw all away 2 weeks from now.
Fucking bud rot…Gives me some more space out there too for the RPP and SF’s
I did not…it was not bad, was just starting, took maybe 25 % of the plant’s it was on. Had a severe storm a few days ago, beat the plants into the ground and had the big buds laying on wet dirt for 2 or 3 days…WHY they got the rot.
From experience when I see rot, the plant comes down. It spreads REALLY fast…and can ruin an entire plant in 2 days time.
If it has just started you can pull most of it off and save the rest of the plant. IF when you go to take it off, i it is “WET and gooey” feeling all the way in to the stem…your done!!!
This rot was localized to where the buds were laying in the dirt, was not stinky or gooey yet, and was easy enough to chop out. I did loose a few 3 foot branch’s, but saved what you see on my table. Had I NOT taken them today, by mid week thy would have been 100% loss!!!
Me either!! They are 100 % LITFA …and will give me 5 plus pounds of great smoke for doing nothing much at all.
In my own yard, hidden behind 20 foot tall bamboo…I will jump in like this to save them however.
Works out well, gives me room to place the PP and SB and RPP cuts/seeds I have started . So Im not really crying…I saved a shitload off of only those 3 plants, have 25 more there.
Washed an dried the outside Bud I took down today. Just hung them to dry.
AMAZING…thrown in horrible “gumbo” soil, in horrible hot humid weather, with ZERO care, and taken down 3 or 4 weeks too early(rot) …they are still THREE TIMES THE SIZE of what i labor to grow inside.
The sun is amazing…my DE Gavita is NOT in the same league…sure wish I was in legal state to really take advantage of the killer light in the sky!!!
