@Tappy - about the teas. I have worm castings, aloe, two row barley (couldnt get the seed), Bioag Humic at home but no air stone. You’re saying I could just soak it in a bucket without an air stone and still make a usable tea?

I thought the air stone was necessary due to the bacteria we’re trying to cultivate are aerobic in nature. Is this wrong?

those buds are THICK :astonished:

I thought so too but I’ve seen a few recipes with just a soak of worm castings. I haven’t tried it yet so thought maybe tappy had?

When I left the charcoal (biochar) soaking with worm castings, humic, kelp and fish hydroslate it took about 10 days to start to smell like sulphur (smelled like shit, literally). I think 24hrs should be fine but I just haven’t tried it.

@FirstCavApache64 hell yea, I usually do Trailer Park Boys, Always Sunny but I may throw in a few SP. Cartmanland, Scott Teinerman, Casa Bonita you know the greatest hits.

@Loggershands I too still haven’t got a pump/airstone to make teas even though everyone pretty uniformly suggests it. Feels like once I start brewing bacteria tea in a garage with pumps/buckets then I’m “All In” & there’s no going back

@RatsboggleBiological Thanks, yea I’m happy considering I hit them with all sorts of deficiency/underwatering for a good 2 weeks of flower. Just good genetics, obviously… are from HolyAngel afterall :+1:

One on the right is chunkier for sure. Left was a thin leaf pheno.

Interesting note. Plant #1 (left) has a full blown fungus gnat explosion. So I completely covered the soil with sticky traps to isolate them till chop tonight.

Plant #2 however hasn’t had a SINGLE gnat. But it has a huge population of springtails in the soil. So obviously Springtails eat Gnat larvae. Beneficial insects seem the way to go :+1:

Now I just hope I didn’t harvest too early. I dunno, I saw a lot of clear trichs. We’ll see in a couple weeks! Oh & there was a LOT more (50% more) flower, I just don’t need that much, so the lowers went into compost.

We were both chopping at the same time tonight, too cool. I just got started on Purple Punch but hopefully I’ll get them all done in the next couple days.
