Let’s hope they get there…and share there genetics…They won the High times Cannabis cup in Amsterdam way back around 2007 I think…Mount cook was the strain …never heard of it again…was in the coffee shops for a wee while.

My mind’s pretty blown that so many people are still against cannabis. I don’t know how it works exactly down in NZ, but too many stoners here just don’t even bother voting.

Me two… To much politics get involved in referendums.
The Kiwi voters who voted yes are up in arms.

2.the cannabis vote was supposed to have been held in July separate before the general election earlier this month.
Ye I thought it was a cert. As New Zealand was a very liberal country
And after the vote Jacinda Arden (prime Minister) told the country she voted for legalization of cannabis.

I’m live in NZ and we were sure the vote would go our way but it was a close call. The referendum was “not binding” according to the PM but so far no joy, but we live in hope.

Not to my knowledge Bud, I would love some beans myself. Two strains that everyone asks about are Te Puke Thunder and Corromandel Gold, sadly extinct I think😡

Years ago when I worked in Rotterdam …The Kiwis won the Cannabis cup with a great strain Mount Cook …
Great smoke , was in the coffee bars in Amsterdam etc…ye was nice weed.
But wasn’t land race.

Interesting. I wouldn’t be surprised if Australia had a landrace. I was surprised to hear there wasn’t one actually, aside from ABC of course, which some say is hemp( I dont think its hemp)Seems like it would have been common knowledge if it existed…so perhaps just feral weed or an old heirloom?
