This whole thread is a fascinating read. I never imagined that all the holy grails of our “industry” can be stabilized, inbred and imbued with F1 vigor given enough dedication and work.

Next question I have is… why aren’t more people doing this? Serious breeders that are around since the beginnings? Where is the Blueberry RIL? NL#5 RIL? The chems RIL? Skunk#1? G13? Original Haze? Acapulco Gold? How come the building blocks of modern cannabis are lost to us, forever to be searched for in random hybrids?

I mean this technology has been known for decades, it’s taught in biology/horticulture/agronomy schools, right? This is how every vegetable we ingest was made? Why the f didn’t we do this for our plant and her important expressions? Is it possible that this whole “industry” is on such an amateurish level that breeders with Tonygreens level of knowledge and dedication ar an exception and not norm?

Boggles my mind really.

Because for every person interested in this type of work there are 10 that will bite on hype, flashy names and packages etc. In short it’s more profitable to one off everything.
I would be very well set if I spent the last decade one offing everything. I certainly have access to the clones.
Some people appreciate the work, some people consider me a dumbass lol.
It’s very hard to build a name inbreeding! If you dig my work tell a friend, we appreciate ya lol.

Very true, it’s like why hasn’t anyone done this with OG kush or any of the other original cut only strains. JOTI has his version of Bubba and OG kush, but no where in the description does it say they had the really OG in them.

There will be thousands of seeds going around. If you can’t get in on the buy, well there’s always the Seed bank of the ever so loved and respected @ MisterBee . also if you look at the list, several are buying more than one pack. If all else fails. , HMU.

After busting down my 5 foot GB s1 mom I’m confident we’ll have enough. I was really hoping each mom would put out enough for everybody to get a taste of each.

Glue leaners are yielding the least looks like. 3 in the pot and were getting crowded out until I could move them into more space. Sometimes less is more, we’ll see. So we’ll see what the new moms do.

I call these pine cone tops, got one more of similar stature that is a “dome top” recessive from sour b, the domes are usually raunchy as hell. I’ll snap a pic tom.

There will deffo at least be extra packs of my original momma, will be a few extra if they want to auction off some more for server fund besides all yous guys donations. Help pay for the bandwidth we used up so far ha. Lucky I cant up a video lol

Much respect @Tonygreen. Can’t appreciate enough that you are taking the time to truly work and stabilize this cultivar family. You are the true definition of a breeder, a great inspiration and example to follow suit. So many others (myself included) have done crosses, but it takes a genuine sense of discipline and commitment to stick with a particular variety and get to know it inside and out. Hats off to you brother!

You won’t regret it either honestly Tony’s creations are straight up fire brother.,I’ve been one of his biggest fans ever since my first strain that I got of his (Blueberry Gorilla Bubble) I now have have quite a few of his works of art in my vault now :grin:
