I’m envious of the growing conditions. I’ve always thought about trying to relocate out there somewhere but I suppose the cost of living even in NCal is high. I lived in Southern Oregon a long time ago and really enjoyed it. I’d prefer to live south of Oregon these days though. peace

Im curious cause I’m originally from there and I remember when I was kid the Vesuvian Purple …bad ass smoke…purple and very grapefruit smelling!

the soil is a mixture of compost and barnyard dropping . I use Grow More products and start seeds and use clones . About a foot tall when planted in may .

Dark Heart has a retail customer list on their web site that’s where I found the seeds from Humboldt Seed from a local outlet . If you hit strains in the upper right corner and hit Vanilla Frosting Its New this season so its hard to find .

It looks beastly and it looks nice… is it the Vanilla Frosting that is getting the purpled/reddish colors? I’m only just now getting a few Cali genetics going and I’m looking forward to them. I needed a new direction from what I was doing.

I’m playing the odds with mother nature the days are still warm with cool nights with a slight chance of light rain tonight . I’m harvesting Hades OG and letting the rest of the girls get fat . I tested a broken bud of Vanilla Frosting right off the plant she was dry enough to burn one . Wow not a newbie smoke going to be killer when dry and cured . Should be a load off this fat girl .

Beautiful Gramps!.. Always nice to view your recent updates. My Fruit passion outdoor plant is still chugging along. I keep saying tomorrow(to chop). Been busy repairing computers lately, and not much time for anything else. Been slightly raining over here. Checked her out today, no bud rot, and looks delicious!.. Very nice. She yielded really well. Best vibes on the finish and hope the frost holds off for you. We had our first frost as a really hard freeze down to 14º, then had a warm week, but headed back down today, and this may be the last really nice day for a while.

Is the vanilla Frosting yours or a commercial strain?.. I can’t remember. peace
