Gramps Out Door Garden

I should of done something like that after my last picking on oct. 16. Humidity was low and the buds were dry in 4 days instead of 12. Glad u mentioned this @gramps now I have another trick up my sleeve for the drying process

Thats what Iā€™d did when it got dry

Wow those buds are huge. It doesnā€™t get any better than that. Thanks for sharing

Thatā€™s about a normal day here. I did better this year than the last two. I let things hang outside for two days and then took all of the buds off to dry further inside. After a day or so theyā€™re ready for jars and I can get a slow cure, then. If I dry any further itā€™s beyond the point of return. I was paranoid this year and timed it much better. I have a lot of crispy weed in bags waiting for me to cull out the seeds and turn it into concentrate. Thatā€™s frustrating after growing it all summer only to mess it up by drying it out. This place is brutalā€¦ but, Iā€™m getting better! Good luck. You have to really keep an eye on it when itā€™s that dry. peace

Dude, I still donā€™t know what to do with the rest of last yearā€™s harvest. Iā€™m on to smoking the new stuff.

Itā€™s ironic that the guy mentioned Dan Blocker ā€œHossā€. He is buried in Woods cemetery in Dekalb, Tx. Near Texarkana. His mother had a farm there that she worked and I would see her pretty often. Dekalb is the same place Ricky Nelson had his plane crash New Yearā€™s Eve of 1985.

I remember when that happened. was it mechanical, a curse, or drugs? no one knows, but We All Want to Know! I believe it took over a year to determine it was a fuel line from a heater somewhere in the back of the plane, I think?

Yeah I understand @gramps. Sucks to let go the small buds on your plants. Comes down to how many times u want to go back and harvest again.
What I do is I pull the plants hang them and chop them up then in a stainless steel bucket full of acetone. Then filtered into another stainless steel bucket the next day and left to dry. All that is left is oilā€¦

Those Vanilla Frostings are going to get really purple if they stay on there longer. Looking good.

Do you get much freezing temps there?

Low 30s and frost this morning it was 80 a week ago we get a hard freeze on once in a while but warms up fast . It was just above freezing when I went for a hike today and 50 degrees a couple hours latter and heading up bright sunny day ahead . I might see if anything is left to save in the garden as soon as it warms up a bit . The mountains to the east of me are all white today .

If you donā€™t mind me asking, whatā€™s the average price for Dark Heart Nursery clones? I think in the future I may ask friend out your way to buy/ship. I purchased from MamaFunkClones for a couple of years before they stopped shipping. I was ALWAYS satisfied with their offerings ($18 ea). Now I see their prices are only $14 each, but there is a local delivery fee. You/family, please stay safe and, indeed, be well.
