Made some butter this afternoon, and shucked a few more seeds from my Blue Dream x Mendo Breath that I pollinated with BB Muffin x Vintage BB. The Blue Dream x Mendo Breath turned out to be real heavy, nighttime medicine, which is why I’m putting it into butter. Have two packs of seeds that haven’t been put away if anyone who has been following along my journal would like some. PM me if interested.

Damn that looks crazy nice constantly killing it! what smells you getting it before you made butter? mendo breath has been in the top five strains I’ve tried as far as taste/odor goes one of those ones that makes you salvate when you smell it 
I bet with blue dream and those blueberry terps from the vintage blueberry x blueberry muffin that’s for sure a terp monster

After having been cured for three months, I would say it’s real sugary and berry scents. House is smelling mighty fine with it decarbing in the oven. I also got some Mendo Breath from the dispensary which really knocked my socks off! Gotta find some time to grow out the S1’s of it I’ve got.

Same the mendo breath I got came from a dispo was some killer smoke stoked to see what you do with those S1s when you get around to them seen those and some mendo crosses floating around og I want to try to find a pack of the mendo breath x gmo cross I’ve seen around that one I bet is crazy tasty too

PM me an address and I can send a few GMO x Mendo Breath your way. I got them directly from the member that is no longer here that made them. I had two going outdoor last fall and they got eaten as seedlings by a dog a friend brought over. Figure I’ll have to try the S1’s first anyway.

Last plant from the indoor run getting chopped. Very mixed feelings on this Mel’s GDP. She smells like fruit punch and purpled nicely, but was a herm monster. 81 days flowering. Still throwing some white pistils, but I’m calling it. Time to get some new babies in the tent!

Is reason enough to toss her. For me, anyway. If the smoke is just THAT amazing, I guess it’s worth keeping that plant around, but I mean…

I did clone her, and ran the clone outdoor. I pollinated that clone, and got some seeds from it, but don’t think I would feel comfortable sharing them, based on how the mother plant performed, even though the outdoor clone didn’t show any sexual instability. And I agree, any plant that herms like that should be tossed for long term use. Thankfully she didn’t do too much damage to my other plants. Found a handful of immature seeds on the others, but not too many.
Thank you! I think I’ve had such mixed feelings about her because she just smells so damn good. Strong fruit punch aromas. Looking forward to seeing how she smokes.

Yeah, I’ve always liked GDP. It’s been years and years since I smoked any, but that was for sure one of those,”Eh, nothing else looks good, I’ll take some of that GDP…”-type strains haha.

The Kens clone, and the squat pheno from Mel’s seeds remind me of the GDP I used to get. I took a sample smoke of the Kens and it immediately made me want to eat everything I can find, which was always a trade mark of GDP for me, as well as nailing that fruity flavor. I didn’t take the best final photos of the Mel’s squat pheno, but I think it’s actually pretty similar in bud structure and appearance to the kens clone. I’ll have to smoke them after a proper cure to really answer that question, but I think I’ll find something in the ballpark of what I was looking for that resembles classic GDP. I sure do miss the medical dispensary days when GDP was in fashion. Quality of the bud you could buy was so high compared to now.

I have a really good set up to make seeds every winter grow season in my yard, and had been planning on F3’ing the Mothers Milk F2’s I had from Motz/Olereynard, but it looks like there is going to be a co-op reproduction now. I don’t think I really have anything else in my current seed stock that isn’t still available by the breeders that made it, or that really calls to me to reproduce.
I was thinking it might be kind of cool to try and F6 the Black Lime Special Reserve F5’s Useful Seeds has worked on from Mean Gene. I don’t think I’ll ever be buying any $300 packs from Mean Gene directly, so this could be a fun, and affordable way to spread that work around a little bit. Anyone have any experience with Useful Seeds? He has a pretty active RIU page.

Haven’t Ran any of his gear but been following his work for awhile seems like a real quality dude has a pretty good presence on riu those blr seems like a real awesome cultivar, I feel you there love meangenes work but can’t see me shelling out that kind of dough for a pack I think that would be a awesome choice and stoked to see @catapult run those f2s of mm after seeing your girl and a few others along with the descriptions of it need to try that mothers milk
