Love is sometimes tough love. That includes sharing things with others that will be disagreed with. Love is also loving myself and speaking up for things I believe in and am passionate about.

Yeah I initially brought it up in the thread and glg asked me to send them my order information which I did through PRIVATE MESSAGES how are you such a shill that you can’t even see the fucked up nature of sharing something that was meant to be private? I did not say it was ok to share our conversation. Am I against resolutions? Fuck no but to go out of your way to be an ass hat that has no respect for others is absurd.

Based off what has been shared. It appears you did not actually get ripped off on a pack. You got everything you paid for plus your freebie pack. I dont understand what your deal is. I think your upset he proved to the forum that you did indeed get what you paid for and made you look like an ass for making false claims. Your basically slandering this mans name and business and getting upset for him defending himself and his coworker. If your gonna slander someone in public how can you be upset that he proves you wrong in public. Your being dramatic and making yourself look pretty foolish.

This is just my opinion but it would be nice to open a thread and not have to scroll through a bunch of aimless arguing and internet bickering. If you’re not involved why pile it on? If you are involved take it to DMs so not everyone has to read things like this.

Well I’m sorry for the disruption I apparently caused here. I honestly didn’t think this was that big of a deal.

I thought it would be more casual and friendly to ask here if the freebie was still available, rather than start a formal customer support inquiry. Next time I will email directly.

Everyone in the cannabis community is naturally sensitive about their reputation. I didn’t realize how this would be taken or that it might cause people to pile on about glg.

I think there was a little miscommunication early on and maybe the initial response was a little defensive, but I don’t have any problem with how GLG has handled this. They’ve been completely reasonable and I want to thank them again for their good service and responsiveness.

DBJ is right, I deliberately didn’t tag them in january because I wasn’t sure if the mistake was on their end, my end, or both, and it just didn’t seem like anything worth troubling them with. We’re in touch via PM, and honestly no one needs to concern themselves with this any further.

Honestly though, people shouldn’t jump to the most dramatic scenario or make assumptions. When people bring up customer service, that doesn’t mean someone is attacking the retailer or their reputation, it can just be a simple back and forth conversation.

This community doesn’t need to act like yelp, where everything is either a glowing 5 star review or a one star horror story.

The tone doesn’t need to get escalated and dramatic, it can just be a discussion.

@zephyr I think you’re in the clear here. All of your posts have been largely positive with a full explanation of how things went down from your end. And it seems like GLG has done what they can to be understanding, as well. They didn’t have to publicly reply to fix an issue and yet that is what they did - stepped up and tried to be understanding. I am happy to see that this worked out for you. :green_heart:

I knew something was up on this thread when I kept seeing 10+ new posts every time I return to the site.

Some other folks are coming in here with a strong accusatory tone. That isn’t what I’m used to seeing here on OG. When there is an issue with an order it’s always best to contact the vendor privately, IMO. Otherwise it becomes a whole “thing” where one side or both sides are trying to maintain a public image on top of trying to fix things. That is rarely the best way to resolve anything.

@Great_lakes_Genetics is a small company with people doing the work. All people make mistakes sometimes, and I often need to remember that I myself need to cut people some slack because that’s how I wish someone would treat me if the situation was reversed. Gotta remember the humanity in all of this so that we keep looking out for one another.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming…

I have had several positive interactions with Dave and DBJ at @Great_lakes_Genetics over the past few months. They have helped me out when I had some issues on the site. During two separate auctions I won the highest bid but the system had an error and wouldn’t let me pay for the orders. I contacted GLG both times through the contact form on their website. They always got back to me within 24 hours, and even acted as an intermediary between myself and their website developers. All issues were resolved within a few days and I have happily received my orders. :alien: :star2: :skunk:

And please note that the issues I mentioned with the auctions had nothing to do with GLG or their team. It was something to do with the web vendor. I work in IT myself, I can attest that sometimes shit happens and can take a minute for the devs to figure out what is going on. Or in my case “a minute” might be closer to “a month.”

I’m not going to go through your whole story again. But let me clarify a few things.

I do not make the advertising post that are here or at any of the other forms or on Instagram. On occasion, I do make a post, but it’s normally something about me or my dog.
I hire a website team that does all that work, and anytime a customer is having a technical issue. They try to handle it as quick as they can. And that’s normally within a day. And I think they do a very good job of making the posts and they all direct people to the website.

I do answer all the posts on the GLG website. And I try to answer peoples questions on Instagram. But I am also on Z labs. Which I consider home. And I do not even answer my post there like I should. This is not meant to be intentional. You actually forget who you’re talking to because you’re talking in four different places to four different people. That’s why I request people send messages to the website.

And put “problem” in the description bar, we monitor that account Monday through Friday 9 to 5.

That’s the first reply to someone who was calmly and politely asking about a problem with an order they had with your shop. They didn’t @ notify y’all right away because they were chill and just asking in this thread amongst peers for opinions and such.

It’s a bad look then and it’s still a bad look.

“Dang that’s a long time ago but throw us an order number and let’s sort that for you!”

“It’s understandable to want to seek a resolution for a missing pack, especially one that was probably a significant reason for placing the order in the first place let’s see what we can do, do you have an order # for the order to check the details?”

“Those packs are actually out of stock. Would you mind sharing your order # so we can further look into this from our end?”

Once again, you don’t know what you’re talking about and you’re just running your mouth.
The facts of the matter are he made the order in July. That’s why things were not adding up because the strain he was missing was not even available in Black Friday when he claimed he originally bought it.

And he has clearly stated that he never brought this to my attention until yesterday.

I have discussed this matter with him, and I believe we have it completely under control.

So go find somebody else to Hate on.

The only reason I replied to your comment above was because I wanted to make sure if people do have a problem they can email me at the website and none of this drama would go down. I’m sure that would make the rest of the people in this thread. Very happy.

Now please, this does not concern you leave me alone.

Yes, we are still having a 420 promo, for some reason a lot of the breeders are running behind. We are going to try and start it as soon as possible hopefully by the first of next week.
