So Saturday I hit the garden with a heavy defoliation. Didnt seem to bother them a bit. Still stretching and drinking water like crazy. I’m running out of height lights are almost at max height. Thinking about doing away with the tent after this grow. Id have more space and a extra foot of height. Would just need to build one wall with a door and reset everything up.

Been contemplating this myself for a while and just putting up a divider wall, would make life much simpler I think for me personally.

I’d be able to almost double my octo count lol I think I could build it fairly easy tho. I do like the negative pressure the tent easily creates and keeps all the smell out of the house. I don’t think it would be as good in a room or I’d just need to upgrade to larger exhaust. @TopShelfTrees1

Yes, probably just an upgrade of the exhaust would be necessary. I wonder now if the tents do help retain the smell better

I have two 6 inch inlines on the 4×8 if I go over half way there seriously pulling the tent in. I exhaust straight to the outside on less than a 6ft run of insulated ducting on each fan. I’m not running carbon filter anymore now Ohio legal so I may smell it in the house now I’ll let you know in a couple weeks.

I actually got a filter a long while back from them I just put on, first time trying their gear besides the heat mats I have. I’d love to have the combos though as mine are hooked up to a whole other system to automate and it’s old school and a pita.

No just the 6” XL I was on the fence about that as they JUST added them. I’ve been kicking ny self since that I didn’t though tbch

Man I researched for months on building carbon filter cause I was tired of buying them. Had found plans for a 3 or 5 gal bucket with tons of holes on the side never built it tho. But I knew a refillable CF would be a hit wish it was me putting it out there lol

Hell yes it just makes sense, they are not cheap and if you are changing every 180 days or so like some I can only imagine! Definitely a gold mine, that company is definitely making BANK . They are everywhere and into so much it’s crazy considering not long ago they were nowhere to be found in cannabis anyway.

Been dealing with stupid fn thrips , 3 months or so now. So I’ve just been maintaining my collection, restarting again and again. I have a BOO (bag of oranges ) repro in honour of my fallen brother Useful that took priority so I’ve just been focusing on those 21 plants and producing seed. Although I have a bunch of stuff just waiting to go once those are down soon, the reversal was successful, pollination was success (with a lot of persuasion ) and now it’s on cruise control until all the seeds are fully matured. I’ve got the thrips isolated to my one 4x8 at least as I eradicated them everywhere but there and my one smaller shelf, but I crushed the shelf yesterday and will be crushing the tent tonight and again in a few days, I have almost all new moms started so I’m just gonna go nuts in there.

Bummer bugs suck. Are you using one and done? Hopefully you get it cleaned up and get that off your plate. im just growing out what clones I have currently running cap junky and legend og. Back to working on building the genetic library trading my way through.

Yes I literally just got the one and done stuff two days ago, I was fighting it using other methods to no avail, I used it a while ago but only had enough for 1.5g that a friend sent me so I ran out before I could crush my whole 4x8 , ironically it’s the one place they still reside. Both of those should be great! Nice

Been getting my mother box cleaned up for some new guest. Mac 1 finally made it way to me. Pretty excited about this one. If I can get it big enough to clone by next run she will be in it. Frankenstein and white rhino are also here I don’t know as much about them but ive only heard good things about both cant wait to see what they have to offer. Going to finish up and mess with the flower tent a bit. I’ll post photos soon

Day 16 flower. Flower tent chugging along. Stretch seems to be slowing down. I gotta find some s hooks or something to get the lights up even if it only 2 inches I’d feel better. Used a couple last clips in the cap junky she surprisingly very flexible still to get it away from the light. Legend og has no give very woody stems both strains would of benefited greatly from a trellis. Legend og a floppy plant wanting to lean all over. Cap junky supports herself but would have done awesome in a trellis.
