Greenfingers grow & show

I’ve mixed oceanforest with the following and it’s worked well.
1/3 ocean forest/ 2/3 seedling mix for starters in solo cups
At 3 weeks age flip to 12 12 and up pot to half/ 1 gallon. From here out, I have used…
50% ocean forest
25% quality bagged organic garden soil and perlite blend. Should be nice and airy soil when mixed.
25% blend of castings/ compost/ large and small nugget perlite. This will be used to top dress later as well. Always use perlite with it or you’ll get an impenetrable crust on the soil surface that is oddly eater repellant
Coop Poop chicken poo is a great topdress addition once plants are further along.
Weak Teas are always nice
Fishbone meal added early on is great on the floor of the flowering container. Place it in a couple piles.
Avoid high p bat guano or use only a pinch or in a tea.
Avoid high nitrogen numbers unless very slow release like feather meal. Castings are typically enough for N needs… When lowest leaves begin to lighten add a squeezed handful of Castings per 2 gallons soil

Thanks @Upstate, I’ll follow your instructions. @Gonzo thanks for stopping by, I’ll be thinning out the flower closet soon. I’ve wanted to do a longer flower strain and chose Oaxaca for my first try. Im gonna try to keep it manageable.

So at lights on everyday you’ll be praying that you don’t have the 20 week pheno? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::laughing::grimacing::bear:

That is amazing brother. I like how you cleared up the lower stuff. It looks like the air flow is not going to be a problem.
However… Just wait untill those buds get heavier and heavier. lol
It doesn’t look like those branches will hold up much. Or are they stouter than they look?

What’s that back under the plants…let me magnify it…what the hell?

Lol. Only if you want to be. Big containers early in flowering can make for huge Sativas. And huge yields too.
@CanuckistanPete good one, lol. @BigMike55 grew himself an indoor oak tree by the looks of it😁
Still going?

Ill use 1 gallon containers and flip them to 12/12 when they are about a foot tall is what I figured. Too much or not enough?

How big final height?

I have about 6’ in my room. Im not afraid of bending. I had a Burmese in there from outside one year lol

They can get huge like that. I’d flower cuttings if you are looking to veg them til a foot tall to get them some age. The older, the more potency.
I still do just a 3 week veg in a solo cup, transplant into a one gallon and flip to 12 12.
Start there and you can still fill whatever space you need filled.
There is one pheno that can hit 4 feet in a 2 gallon.
It’s easy to restrain them and easy to get them bigger.
I flip at 4 inches

In the solo cup is that from seed? Three weeks from sprouts to however big they get in 3 weeks, up pot and flip. Am I understanding that correctly

Do you start the veg count from emergence, or from first true leaves, or…?

Yes she is still in the tent. 12 weeks in flower today. Still has a good four weeks left, if not more. Gotta have patience to grow one of these.
