Hi @GreenleafNutrients looks like your out of the 2kg bags in Canada, again. Lol popular stuff.
Leaving me to get the 25lbs 1 Part bag.
Are there any promos for that product?
As well, $95 Canadian on Amazon vs $120 approx if I load it on a cart at your site. Shipping from the US. At $85 USD.
We are getting more 2kg stock in Canada hopefully by next Wednesday. Our first shipment sold out super quick in Canada and we underestimated the demand!
The Canada price for those bags is good, we are running an Amazon special so that’s probably the cheapest atm.
Oh that’s awesome news! I have enough to last a few weeks.
I’ll keep an eye out for the 2kg. The 25 lb would be nice to grab. But with amazon’s amazing track record. Most of my 2kg bags arrived torn open or crushed open from pallet stacking
2kg is easy to repack… 25 lbs. Not so much
Oh a few pics of my Fastbuds blueberry auto. Grown in promix hp, Mega Crop and sweet candy outdoors
Love the sweet candy compared to the bud explosion peat based grows.
I received the Bud Explosion pack last week. USPS sent it on an epic journey according to the tracking. I mixed the first batch and applied it on Friday.
Megacrop for the WIN!!! Easily the best nutrient line on the planet and the best value. The two part and sweet candy… oh the sweet candy is the best add on. I run up to 5 different strains on the same res and never had a strain that didn’t love the Megacrop and sweet candy combo. Thanks for a great product and great pricing.
I’m also a fan of Greenleaf Nutrients (2 part), but their Bud Explosion is made for hydro and their Sweet Candy is made for “soil-type mediums”. They say this about Sweet Candy on their website:
Specialized for soil-type mediums that can benefit from organics and microbes
Of course, if you’ve got a good thing going, why change, right? And I totally agree with that. However, if you have issues in the future, you may want to consider trading out the Sweet Candy for Bud Explosion. I’ve used both, and in my setup, I get better results with Bud Explosion.
probably yes. Unfortunately we overestimated AU demand, and ended up shipping way too much of the 1.3kg Mega Crops to Australia which right now we are having to heavily discount to burn through the inventory. AU is a pretty small market for us so its actually costs us a lot to have our products available there and we lose money, but we will eventually support it with more of the expanded product line. Probably 2025.
Looks like it’s a bit different but nothing dramatic. I noticed the 25 lbs bag has the old nitro balls the smaller bag I had was more of a blonde colour.
As well the big bag has thoes silver flakes and the smaller one didn’t.
I’ve mucked my current grow wit PM, so will be starting a fresh round with using the 25 pounder and report in on any major differences I see.
People be tripping in my gardens after hearing I’m using Megacrop exclusively! Been through the many upgrades and probably will be getting 2 part next!
Maybe that’s what I need to do too. I’m starting to notice things that I hadn’t before and maybe it will help me to address some small issues I’m getting. I love the stuff btw.
Your plants are killer.
I just got sweet candy. I have most of the ingredients but it helps me save time and just use less pk boost.
The thing about plant sugars and extracts extra in the candy is they will feed microbes and give bit more carbon and energy to the plant (hence sucrose in agar) but if you supplement it for ok boost your over doing it and end up robbing oxygen from the media.
When i had turbinado, mannitol, sorbitol, kelp, yucca etc i dont add PK that day if that makes sense
Oh and some sugars help with osmotic movement but also cause artificial thirst which will slow growth but boost response i.e trichomes but usually if used in larger amounts.
