I’ve only grown one plant of the fem beans so far, Purple MAC, and I’ve seen a bunch of others, and I don’t really like anything with the Purple Punch they’re using.
I still plan to run these Catalina Wine Mixer’s soon, but from what I can tell, Heisen got someone else’s cut of the Purple Punch and not the main cut that everyone raves about. I mean the herb is good, potency/smell/taste its all there, I just wasn’t a fan, and not impressed by, that Purple MAC.
I do like fem beans though. I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with them. Roughly same chance of herms as any other seed and it’s a 99% guaranteed to be a girl. Real nice to be able to fill any tent gaps with fem beans that way as you know they’re girls.

The Purple MAC didn’t hermie at all. I haven’t seen any hermies on the catalina wine mixer but only seen 1 or 2 other people grow it and I haven’t yet.
I have seen some herm reports on a couple of the other Punch crosses but unsure offhand. I know RIU has a big GPS thread and I’ve seen em mentioned in there.

I ran the purple punch w similar experience. Was a pretty good overall strain- yielded great, real frosty, potent just lacking the taste and smell you normally see associated w the clone description.

I’ve had to cut some bud out of the big plant (in fact quite a few) it’s some kind of bud rot or infestation,
I live in a high altitude and we are in the rainy season and lately it’s been all rain and cold at night.
None of my other plants hhave this.
Should I cut my less and cuT her down she is 66 days of a 80-85 day schedule.
Will check again any suggestions be welcome.
And to make my week the two Copper chems turned out male…isn’t growing great fun.

Herb was an ok strain? I have a pack and was going to run it but with so much purple this and that I held off . I did pop one purple mac though.

The Purple MAC I’m actually slightly sad I traded them all away to you 
but no worries bro. Just those aren’t available anymore.
It ended up being pretty damn good smoke and works wonders for my nerve/back pain. Could definitely recommend it, I just hated the way the plant looked/smelled/grew The pheno I got was pure burnt rubber and a little fuel.
Have not popped the NL5xHaze yet as I’m working on the NL5HSS at the moment, then goji f3 run, then likely comin back to the NL’s so will try and run them then. See if I can use it as a backcross of some sort

Ill send you clones of every one I pop just say the word . Shoot most of my stuff I would give cuts out of.
Im pretty sure im going to start selfing all my great phenos. I love pheno hunting.

Ye she’s down, kept finding it, especially on the bigger colas… I’ve saved a bit and now drying… Shame as the plant would have been a yielder… Still part of the joys of growing… Thanks

Grown quite a few GPS crosses since '15. Definitely got some fire over the years. My personal favorites were the Doc Holiday, Eagle Scout, & Tang Haze OG. Got some Pebble Pushers (FPOG x Stawdawg) & City Slickers (Gelato x Stardawg) vegging currently.
