Think Grape Pez mixed with fuel but the fuel came late in my DG girls.
A Q-tip? I was slathering it on with an artist’s paint brush and at the end it was a lot of brushing.
So a cannabis plant produces a chemical called Ethelyn which has several very important functions in a weed plant with one being triggering the development of the flowers. By treating a branch or the whole plant with the STS or CS you are in effect blocking the Ethelyn from doing it’s job in the parts of the plant being treated. So I start right at the base of the branch where it meets the main stalk and start applying the STS right there. All around the branch (top and bottom) as well as all of the side branches and the leaves (I just apply to the tops of the leaves) but you get my point it needs to be applied liberally and thoroughly without being sloppy. Anyway you’ve already made part of the plant unusable where you were treating it so why not do another 3 treatments 2 or 3 days apart from each other. You never know.
My double grape is on day 84 and Im thinking about taking her to 91 days or more. Trichs are 99-98% milky with 1 or 2% amber. I took a tester from her the other day and she smells like a freshly baked crouton when burned. The high is VERY much a couch lock high.
Update on White Creme C… I have balls forming! Sorry about the terrible photo, I will get a better one tonight. But I assure you there are balls forming. @LoveDaAutos Should I stop spraying the STS now?
If my memory serves me right you are using the same ratio with the STS as I use? If so the most times I have had to treat a plant is 5 times. So if you’re seeing boy parts I would say you don’t need to treat the plant any further.
Thanks buddy. She is small but lovely! One day I will figure out the variable that keeps my autos small but I’m actually starting to like it. I can fit 4 autos in a 2x2 and they almost never even touch cause they are mini
On the flip side of that with perfect environmental conditions for those four plants in the 2x2 and some early branch removal you could have four huge colas one on each of the four plants.
I hunt flavors so getting 2 oz per auto is not terrible right now. Once I find the ones I love maybe I can aim for larger yields. However, I already give away a third of what I grow so it doesn’t go bad.
On flavors… the white creme is really great, loving it. I happened to harvest a Hella Jelly photo at the same time and I love mixing these two in a bowl, little more white creme than HJ cause the HJ is so damn fruity its overpowering.
I read people saying “Do not smoke any part of a plant that has had STS sprayed anywhere on it”. Pretty sure @LoveDaAutos said they have smoked the tops of plants that had the lower branches sprayed with STS, but i could be wrong on that. Does anyone have some science to back either choice? I know its safer to just not smoke it but you know… I want to smoke it if I can.
Thanks to a $50 bill to a seed vendor and @Rhino_buddy I now have some Night Owl autoflowers to play with and try to make more seeds.
I bought a Night Owl “Karmic Connection” pack on whim at a cannabis event I was working and was surprised to find almost no mention of it online. It’s in an official blacklight reactive pack and says Karmic Connection (Chem City blues x chemdogging x Cosmic Queen). Came with freebies I haven’t cataloged or looked up.
Rhino hooked it up and I got the following:
Hubbabubba Skunk from Wicked Pissah Seeds. Didn’t find anything online about lineage. If anyone knows let me know.
Night Owl
Oh Geeze - 3 Bears OG x Tyrone Stomper
triple grape - Double Grape x Tyrone Stomper
galaxy brain - Zamaldelica Express x Cosmic Queen
Space station Orange V2 (orange diesel) - Orange Diesel F4 x Cosmic Queen F4
cosmic queen f4 - Spacedawg x Chemdogging
Fast Buds Mexican Airlines, a “pure-bred Sativa”. combination of Colombian and Mexican Sativas
Personally I never smoke any plant I spray with STS. Doesn’t seem worth it to risk. That and I never spray 1-2 branches but whole plants for the process. It becomes a pollen run on top of a reversal run so there’s still plenty to share without the health concerns.
I never spray whole plants, at least I haven’t done so yet. And I don’t spray I brush on the STS now. I wouldn’t share any weed I felt had been in contact with the STS.
