I had a Filipino coworker and he made adobo with squirrels; pretty easy and tasty dish!
Soy sauce, ginger, black pepper, vinegar and braise it down to thicken sauce and until meat is tender. serve with rice it was tasty!
I saw the small bones and thought it was a bird or something but he made me eat it first then He told me “the squirrels eat my garden so I eat the squirrels”.
The circle of life haha and I highly recommend adobo for those that haven’t tried it; squirrel or otherwise!
