Grove Bags.... Has anyone tried them on a cure?

Yeah, I like the idea of a possible Canadian group buy to save on the excessive shipping cost.

Yea, I’m interested in trying a few of these. How reusable are they though? Or just label it with a strain and stick to that one kind going in?

I know, it we got enough people on board it would be even cheaper buying a full box and splitting it up

I’m pretty sure they are reusable like a smellproof bag

Not sure bud, I just think it’s interesting. I wouldn’t mind tossing an oz or so into one along side a jar and see how it goes for each.

That’s what I am thinking. I really only want one that holds an oz or two just to do a comparison. If it can save the burping time and effort than it would be worth buying more down the road.

I just checked it was 60$ plus shipping for 50 1 ounce bags. I’m not sure how many people would be interested so I just stuck a number in on the site

From what I understand they are reusable.

@Bow4Buck said he’s reused them, but don’t know the extent.

Yeah I just did it as a test. Had roughly 30 zips of Gold leaf when I used 2 bags the first time. Just to see if they can be re-used i put a qp Gorilla glue in one and 10zips in another. Dont have the Gorilla glue anymore but it cured great. Still smoking out the other bag. Its cured a month and still doing fine. Just to note I put a qp and 10 zips in 1 pound bags they still cured excellent. Guessing over size bags doesn’t matter.

My bags will be here on Monday. I wont have a harvest to test with for a few weeks though

You must have got your order in just in time. On the other forum a couple of guys said they were out of stock on some of the smaller bags.
I can’t place my order until next week.

I just have 2 autos going atm, so I figured the 4 QP bags would be more than I needed to do a test. Of course I had to spend a little extra to get the cool artwork

Personally I am still debating this one. I almost grabbed a few but the shipping is so inflated.

When you sign up for an account, they give you a $20 off coupon that should help that a bit. Not sure if its on registration or purchase, but I think it was there for just signing up

Edit - damn, the shipping is ~$10 here. that is a lot more for Canada :frowning:

This looks and sound like a god send as I just can’t get it together!

I’m still struggling to find the best dry/cure technique for AZ. Don’t let you get you down.

Yeah, didn’t get to the coupon part, lol. They really gouge us for shipping to Canada for some reason. First they charge $5 for the box to put the bags in and than $27.52 for the cheapest shipping which is more than the product itself. I will go sign up and see what it does  Thanks for the tip.

@MoBilly These Grove Bags look interesting. I’m not sure I see an huge advantage to using them myself and it looks like a rabbit hole I can’t afford to go down right now. I’d love to hear your opinion of them once you’ve tried 'em out.
