Grow bags for sprouts?

So to reiterate: the roots can grow through the bags no problem right? I ordered some and just want to make sure

Yes, that’s right. Look at the pics I posted in post 2.

Hey @Natea just to reinforce Doug’s reply, this plant was started in a grow bag and planted directly into the next size pot(s). They do just fine growing through the bag. You can even see it if you zoom in.

Thanks for the update @HeadyBearAdventures, these seem like a perfect way to grow my plants in Coco coir!

Indeed, they are great. I use this pic when folks ask if they have trouble growing through those bags

I have good success using them. Never had an issue with starting them in grow bags, they grow just as good as plants without the bags imo.

Haha that stalk is as wide as the bag! Nice

I pulled the pot I used for one of my Blue Kush. It was chopped days ago. Here is what it looks like after being started in the grow bag.

Do the roots grow through these AC ones too? @HolyAngel

Oh yes definitely! Roots easily penetrate right through the sides of the bags.

Will be doing most of my testers with them…

Just ordered the half gallon size of the a/c infinity bags; I like that they’re biodegradable!
I’m gonna use them to up pot my pepper plants after they outgrow their sprouting bags.
Thanks for the tip @HolyAngel !
