Growin' and Chuckin'

You check on seed thread with mrbee. He had og18 on his list he was sharing. I never heard of it but just og18 made me think. Hmmm og probably a run where number 18 stood out it was bred back with male in same run
whalla og18. Or og pheno#18 maybe. But maybe a selected true og.
I honestly know nothing about it but if its a true og its fire almost guarunteed. Hollar at mrbee og18 free seed n clone thread.

@rooted taking a short break with the holidays. Then rolling into some Fluffhead(Valley Vixen x Aspen OG) and Valley Vixen f2s. Making a Fluffhead bx1, Fluffhead f2, and Valley Vixen f3. I’m in love with the Valley Vixen. :fire::evergreen_tree::fuelpump:

Yeah the valley vixen is a pretty one.
Whats aspen og like? Is it an og with pine flavor crossed into it? Sounds good too.
Ill check back nice thread.
Im gonna try my hand at a chuck. I got a strain almost noone has (and will not be available again) with fire background and produces fire bud. Proven so im gonna make something of it. Then spread some love with it. Breath of the beast® is gonna be the name.
Ill stop back. Look forward to seeing the grows. Im trying to learn anything breeding right now so kinda reading everyones threads i can learn from.

Phenotypes of Aspen OG range. Pine, Chemdog, lemony OG, and rotting meat are the four main flavors. Aspen OG is SFV OG x (G13/haze x Sour Diesel). Figured crossing VV to the Aspen was appropriate, both being SFV crosses. These beans will be nothing less than spectacular. I will have f2 seeds available in the trading section when they’re ready. :v::fire::fuelpump::evergreen_tree:

Got me drooling. Sounds like some tasty phenos. I love pine and it’s been a while since I’ve had any. Early ‘80s in the south there was a lot of nice piney strains. Never heard any names to any of them. Mostly from the Appalachians around East Tennessee.

The pine flavored buds I got from South Bronx bodegas in the 80’s were said to be Jamaican green bud. So many sativas have incredible flavors and smooth hitting as well. The VV is pine, lemon, and deep skunky funk. I brought a few seeds back from St. Thomas, a few years back. I think it’s Jamaican weed. Real powerful electric high. I need a male to breed with. I’d love to add some sativa goodness to some of my Kushes

Bad news. The clone of Aspen OG I received had russets. All plants have been tossed, threw the 5x5 tent in the trash, threw all plastic containers, domes, and trays into recycling. Bleached my 4x2 tent, bleached utility room, and now waiting at least 6 weeks before starting up again. According to Colorado State U, hemp russet mites need a hemp host to survive. Most importantly, eggs do not hibernate or go dormant for months or years, as reported by idiots on THC Farm and RIU. They hatch and without hemp as a host, they will die in 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately I have D&C and Phish tour this summer and don’t like plants growing when I’m away. But who knows. Shows might be canceled because of this outbreak. This is the 2nd time in 29 years I’ve taken clones from someone and the 2nd time I’ve lost a crop to mites. Plants were babies, so the only loss was the $200 pack of Wedding Cake f4s and some plastic, but no biggy. I’m on to my own gear next. Haze hybrids next round.

That sucks. I’ve gotten bugs every time I’ve taken cuttings too. Nice that you have lots of genetics to fall back on, the martian haze looks really dank!

That OG #18 is a phenotype of OG Kush (DNA Genetic), aka “Private Reserve” (numerous Award winning). Diesel Kush flavor, SOUR, Sour, s-o-u-r!!! Not for the faint of heart, but will have you coming back for more. If you don’t wanna walk on this sidewalk, stay on da porch!!!

What does OG18 have to do with my post? You lost me. But I’ve had several phenotypes of OG18 in the past. Get the right pheno, absolutely a great smoke, but lots of shit variations in that unstabilized “phenotype”.

Definitely see the SSH coming out…plants look awesome, buddy!

The few phenotypes I grew of SSSDH we’re heavily influenced by the SSH…airy buds, plants stretched like nothing I’ve grown before, but all had almost a pure Sour Diesel flavor with very little Haze. Crossing to this beastly Martian Mean Green gave the offspring big, thick buds, stopped the crazy stretch during flower, gave girth to the stems, and flavor became sweet and sour tanginess. The remaining few seeds I have are 8 years old. Hoping they pop…:crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:
