Those look super healthy! Oh, I get the excitement! Flower lady here! I celebrate every first bloom! It feels like forever too, once they get that flower bud and waiting for it to open! What kind of peppers are you growing? I’m growing 1 poblano pepper this year in a 5 gallon.

@Herbie nothing on the SSDD that’s noticeable over the Orange Goji.

Still not showing me anything. No news is good news at this point. I have my fingers crossed. It looks like it will probably come down to one possible female on the Azad Kasmir and the Panama Garlic Haze as well. Phew! I’m really hoping I get lucky.

What’s the best tips you got for growing peppers? I’ve got 9 types and it’s my first time growing any, ever. Indoors .

Oh snap, you have gladiola’s flowering already!? Do they flower twice per year for you? Ours don’t bloom until august or so

I’ve only grown them outside. I just threw some dry Down to Earth all purpose fert in some organic soil, so far. I don’t recall them being really heavy feeders or needing special treatment.

Awesome. I’ll just feed them how I feed cannabis. :relieved: probably on the lite side tho.

Unfortunately they don’t bloom twice, but I feel like all of my flowers bloom a season early here. I just got my first lily and dahlia yesterday too! Supposed to be summer blooms as well. My freesia bulbs usually bloom twice though.

So, my man is outside now tilling the cannabis patch for the final time. I should be able to rake it out and level it this weekend, so Dad can start assembling the trellises and infrastructure for the bug enclosure. Things are happening now!

Also, just got a 3 day spa getaway booked for me and the man this morning! End of next month, can’t wait!

Looking fwd to seeing how you do the bug netting. It sure is going to help. My words of advice are make sure it’s high enough and that enough air flow can get through, which means enough side space aswell. Humidity can build up inside netted environments believe it or not and sometimes a couple fans around help. I know fans outside sounds funny but believe me they are a great help. If you have rain forecast just pull em inside till the rain subsides and bang them right back after the rain stops.
Side note, that port wine cheese should be amazing for you.

Dad extended the top layer of the trellises to 10 feet and they will all be connected. The ag net will be around the outside like a giant box 20’x20’x10’. YES! Fans will help as it will allow the air to hold less moisture. We are gonna rig some fans out there on a timer actually. Great advice! The only thing is first, the trellises have to be set up before the plants go in, instead of adding as they grow like last year, so that’s gonna cut down a tiny bit of sun and secondly the ag net cuts the sun by 2%. Honestly, this doesn’t bother me in the least as you know I prefer a 6 footer to a 9 footer. Yes, I’m a weirdo, but you of all people know what a bitch large plants in flower can be. I only needed to grow a ridiculous sized plant a couple times for the cool pics and wow factor. I’m over it now. 9 plants for 3 people is more than sufficient in the bud department.

So, I have 4 PWC’s since I had twins on one. Unfortunately, the PWC 1 appears it’s gonna be male so it’s twin PWC 1A probably will be also. So that leaves PWC 2 and 3. PWC 2 is that crazy stinky one and I’m really crossing my fingers on “her” :crossed_fingers:

Speaking of the plants… The first batch need a nitrogen feed, they told me. Next watering tmw…

Oh and almost forgot… out back earlier and a ladybug was going from plant to plant, destroying anything in it’s path. A gardeners delight!

I’m also going to do vids again in flower probably, it’s easier than labeling all the pics. Maybe I’ll do one of just my regular garden flowers too, for some of my flower lovers. I’ll put a warning for anyone who doesn’t give a shit without the cannabis in there. so you don’t have to waste time listening to me ramble on… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
