Dang young lady! I gotta say sorry first, for missing the past couple weeks due to this new ailment going through me. I’m all caught up again, and congrats on the new move made with your man,. Sounds like you and him are going to be grand together (more-so that is) 
But, you got it going on there! lol That 23 minute vid was nice to follow, indeed! Lovely yard, and the wife is just depressed, and jealous as heck that she doesn’t have one like that anymore. We moved a few years ago, and she probably had as many as you, lol But now, even though she tried to bring a truckload with her, a lot have not made the journey well…

We’ll be lucky if we even get to Turks and Caicos. They have made it nearly impossible. They have changed the requirements twice since we booked. First, you just needed a specific Covid test 5 days before we get in the country. Then they changed it to 3 days before, which in our case is tricky as we fly overnight. Meaning we fly on Friday night at 2am, but that’s really Thursday night. We get to T&C on Friday. So we paid for their super expensive “Next Day” Test which is tomorrow, Wednesday. Which is technically 3 days before. If I don’t get the results in my email by Thurs, I cant upload the results to T&C to gain permission to enter. So that’s the first obstacle.
Now as of Sept. 1st… Tomorrow, T&C has changed their requirements that you must be vaccinated to enter. Well, the man and I both are, but he got his at his job and they never gave him a vaccination card. So we both scrambled around trying to figure out how to get his vaccine record. Finally get to CDC California website and they send this link to your phone with one of those QR things. Well first, it doesn’t download directly to your phone, what it does is put it in google pay. The problem there is it can’t be uploaded to complete the vaccination requirements as it’s just on the screen. I got mine uploaded by taking a pic of my vaccination card, I just got a brand new phone and have no idea how to take a screenshot.
All of these clearances must be obtained by the time we hit our connecting flight in Miami or we won’t be permitted to board. I’m trying to be positive, but I have spent the last 6 hours just trying to get my own vaccination record uploaded for a manual approval and that is just the one for the airline. I still have to get the results of my covid test on time and uploaded, not to mention the Man’s. Still gain approval to enter at the very last minute and do these final steps all at the last minute because they only give us 3 days and I basically lose one flying.
What is supposed to be a bucket list vacation, may not even happen at the last minute. I’ve been on the verge of tears and snapping at my man, who gets way too lethargic when it comes to handling urgent shit like this and the man is about as smartphone and app retarded as I am,. I had a million and one things today before we even went and I got basically nothing done because of all this app based computer bullshit just to go. I still have a client tmw and immediately after the covid test all the way across town. It will be evening before we even get home from that. I still have to pack, pay my bills, clean the house etc etc etc before I leave on Thursday night. If I get there it will be a miracle. Meesh who really doesn’t drink, is gonna have many many cocktails if somehow I actually end up on vacation.

I put my vax card right with my passport the day I got it. I KNEW that would be a travel requirement for me (Honduras and Mexico are kinda regular, the rest of the caribbean is open as well).
The constant changing of testing requirements for various countries has gotta be mind numbing. Which test, how long before you leave. And you are going red-eye which definitely can confuse the issue for gate agents.
I feel for ya, but as soon as you touch down in T&C, sorry, but my sympathy runs out

Try holding the button that turns your phone on or whatever activates it from being “asleep” with the volume down or up button at the same time. Most phones ive had take screenshots like this.

if its a apple phone use this button with the volume up or down
If it’s a android phone and ur not having luck holding the 2 buttons you can also try just holding the power off button and this should pop up

Then to find your screenshots look for a “photos” app something similar to this
Most of the new phones these days deal with screenshots in the same way.
Once you get to this point i would just email the pictures to yourself and access your email from a computer thats easier to work from

Just take a photo with each other’s phones 
of the card/QR code then try to figure out the other ways, have a good trip.

If it’s Android, Litterly take the side of your hand, place at the edge of your phones screen and slid your hand across the screen from left to right quickly. May take a few tries before you know how to do it. But it’s easy I swear.

Woke up an hour and a half early with major anxiety about this trip. I’m just gonna get my butt in gear and go to my clients office super early and leave earlier since my to do list is overwhelming me right now. I lost the whole afternoon and evening just messing with the damn vaccination records. Jeez, feel kinda sick to my stomach from stress and I was mean to the man last night out of frustration. Makes me feel like shit.

Well, we’re waiting on our Covid Test results so we can complete the permission slip to enter Turks and Caicos and we leave tonight. I had a complete meltdown last night and we were gonna cancel the trip. The man texted me from work and wants to keep trying. It will be a real bummer if we fly all the way to Miami then can’t board our flight if we don’t get permission to enter at the last minute. All I can do now is pack, water all the plants and hope for a miracle.
