Growing With Mr.Sparkle : 2021

Also showing and saying that for smell its better to pull than push reason being is any airgap or crack or whatever you may have in your build or tent becomes an avenue for smell to escape while under pressure where as pulling those same spots air will be drawn through as it will bein a slight vacuum so from a smell perspective its negated.

That is all freaking brilliant, sir

I agree, itā€™s what I use.

Haha well if I had more space it would definetely be in use, guess a picture gives more context even if I have always been open and up front with my grow methods and spaces.

One day I may ā€œbecome a real boyā€ lol and grow in a tent, though I see myself having some two level built wall unit instead as Iā€™ll be cursing all the wasted space if I had a tent, that or building a second level in one.

Anyways yeah micro grower as the tag on this thread may imply, been growing this way for about 10 years now in some form or another.

It has been a while, you growing micro. If memory serves me correctly, I think I was following you over on icmag before here.

Cheers Johnny

Man itā€™s so funny this convo just came up as this has also been on my mind right now with my planning/designing going forwardā€¦

Hereā€™s a couple things I thought about:

Always intake and exhaust filters and a fan either pulling through the intake and a passive push through the exhaust, or a fan pulling through both (ie positive and negative pressures) and this for me depends on if you are potentially having a female tent and/or another isolated male tent.

Just as @Mr.Sparkle mentions about air gaps/leaks, I figure if I have females, I want to have my fan pull thro the intake and push into the tent and passively out the exhaust and any leaks (vs pollen coming in those leaks). Where as with the males, I donā€™t want to push out the exhaust and leaks, I want all air going out the exhaust filter and coming in intake and leaks.

Thatā€™s just how Iā€™m thinking about it.

*I should also note, I would think generally fans pulling through filters where applicable would be better as I would assume less dust on the fan.

I had mine set up like the second photo and just switched it back to pull and exhaust out the window without a filter.

I do have filters in my intake areas though coarse ones which pollen and lighter dust can get through, also I think people are alot more afraid of pollen than at least my experience with it, like Iā€™ll have pollen producers in the one cab and plants Iā€™m not concerned about getting hit in the other, and even if it does happen itā€™s just a couple seeds, though only way that happens is say if Iā€™m careless and have both doors open when tending to them and flick or knock around a pollen producer.

I got your lemon pie bud from a close friend here. We will see its glory in a kick ass organic outdoor spot this summer. I canā€™t wait to run theseā€¦

Will be interesting to see how it handles outdoor growing, Iā€™ll be interested forsure.

These lemon pie seeds. I read they can produce up to 24 percent thc. Do you think your f2ā€™'s of this strain will do the same?

Well @Mr.Sparkle were gonna find out. I think itā€™s gona be a hit. I just canā€™t believe that there are autos out there with such high thc contentā€¦

I love it, your space looks awesome.
I started out with Micro cabs, it was fun build. Had mine stashed under an aquarium

I agree with the pollen fear lol Iā€™m a notoriou careless chucker and through many many mistakes Iā€™ve learned as long as Iā€™m not literally chucking pollen into my flower tent itā€™s not as big of a dwal as I first thought I have learned over the years that I have to make sure I either only have one male or to keep them seperated to keep track of both or if Iā€™m making seeds other than that chuck away

Honestly no idea, and would depend on how things are grown, will say though FastBuds seems to how would you say fudge the truth a little in regards to what they either claim to have genetics wise though saying that there are alot of good plants that have been grown regardless.

Some autos are in the 20+% range and has been happening for abit now and will only get better, really itā€™s not a make or break thing as so long as itā€™s tasty and the effects are nice you just smoke a little bit more if itā€™s lower potency .
