Growing with Mr.Sparkle : Trials & Progression 2020

your not littering  , but a vial of pollen with some desiccant ā€œdried our rice, or silica beadsā€ in it would/should last a couple months

And id be up to try, and yeah i say the best male that pops up to your eye, as then it will be interesting to see what and why you selected it, if much reason at all, but then seeing how that carries over into whatever its crossed with.

Okok ill have to read more about it so I can send it safely to you !..

Most vigorous and the one that shows good AF genes is the one I wantā€¦ the shorter the better for me in the northern climatesā€¦ fast flowering but still has time to grow big!

yeah desiccants, all i do is either use those silicate desiccant beads mine typically come from nori packs, and or you can use rice, both you just throw in the oven for 20 or so mins at like 60C to evaporate off any water.

Day 51/49/18/6

Flowering plants are on straight water now, but they have already spiked the water into the 1.2+ ec range when i checked last, the seedling on that side is being slower than the other side, maybe just shaded and well different starting conditions.

The right side, played with my lights again after some thinking, measuring, and just to test for a couple days, but bumped it up to 60w for this side making it 20w/sqft on a 18/6 schedule which would be equivalent to running 30w/sqft if i was flowering photoperiods, also is less than half of what i was running in my ikea cab of oldā€¦

Also some more seeds have been dunked in water, so anticipating having some space eventually.

At what distances from the tops? Iā€™m assuming that effects it too.

It does and also how full it is with say plant matter, but right now its at 20" and will get less as time goes on as my lights are static mounted.

Okay I see, by how full with plant matter you mean that plants shade each other or that more plants equals less co2 for the plants (air circulation) ? hope Iā€™m not posting here too much haha. So Iā€™m at a conundrum, my lights are on 12/12 for my little cookies kush for the cup contest which is fun but Iā€™m concerned that switching from 12/12 to 18/6 may effect the autos after the CK is done. Iā€™m too lazy/busy to be moving the CK in and out every day to maintain flowering times. Do you think it would confuse them? Iā€™m assuming autos auto no matter what. I guess at worst Iā€™ll just have to keep it in 12/12 for even longer.

The autos wonā€™t miss a beat if you up them from 12/12 to 18/6. Theyā€™ll love it.

What to choose what to choose!
Iā€™ll post a list on my diary and take suggestions haha.

i ment more that with more plant matter to accept light, vs say just having it reflected off the wall or floor.

and as for your plant if its a true auto then it will just continue on.

Supposedly day 52, and already showing ambers, if a second flush of pistils comes out its just gonna be wispy foxtail stacking. So i donā€™t knowā€¦ what im seeing says shes pretty much done and can go whenever, but day wise its just seems earlyā€¦

Sort of laboratorium for weed!

Wonderful clean and neat set up, i love it!

Do you think the reflection of your silver walls is better then the white ia have on my tent? :innocent:

ā€˜Supposedlyā€™ 52 days, eh? For some reason I donā€™t doubt the accuracy of your record keeping haha. Is that the fastest youā€™ve seen one finish?

ive had ones in the past fall into that 54-55 day mark, so maybe ???

@AUM and yeah id say it is, i wont go into details on it just has to do with light energy reflecting off a solid surface vs going through a polymer a ways before bouncing back out.

Very nice looking plantā€¦ Love the colors on that! Have you ever detailed out how you get those great photos with the black background? They look awesome :+1:

possibly, but its essentially just a black background and a little bit of adjustment of dark/average/light base values in a photo editor.

i use some black velor fabric i picked up specifically for this purpose, only cost a couple $.

but i can write something up or take more pics on my next one

Iā€™m a bit late, but I remember @MomOnTheRun talking about how she mixes the pollen in corn starch. I canā€™t remember if it was to keep it fresh in storing or just for ease of spreading it. I believe it was both. Just a thought
