Day 56/54/23/11/2

Well ill start off with harvest shots, still need to chop them down but will be doing that shortly. So these made it to week 8 and is good enough for me for how they are looking, and frees up some space.

First is the Green pheno that changed at the end, calyxs and inner bud is still green but leaves are dark blackish purple with the yellow coming through, looks cool, smell fruity and good so far.

Purple pheno from the Green pheno seeds, but this was the one i sprayed the top on with ineffective CS so i just cut off the top a ways back and this is what remained, Heavy fruity grape berry smell to it.

@MumenRyder This is literally all i do for these photos, whether a flash is turned on or not from my camera and then i just edit the levels specifically the values in a photo editor, my midtone center point typically goes down to a 0.9 from 1.0, and my low end on a 256 scale goes from 0 to 10, and i may alter the specific color channels a little just so the color is more accurate vs what my phone thinks it sees under my 5000k table light.

But one key point is i always check my photos first before actually chopping the plant, done it a few times where i grabbed shots started trimming then find out later my photos were all blurry due to either focus or unsteady hands.

As for the cabinets heres how they are looking, flopped the big plant this morning, was gonna wait but when leaf tucking this morning i snapped off one of the fan leaves so said screw it it gets the flop as well.

And a bonus shot from watering yesterday, just was neat.

Thanks for sharing those details!

The black background really makes the plants pop and it looks like a “truer” picture of the plant compared to other background colors.

The picture that is a step back from the setup makes it nice and clear. I tried something like this before with the black side of panda paper and I was not able to get great results. After reading the details here though, I will eventually try it again and see if I can get a nice picture like those above. Both plants look great :+1::+1:

Oh, well done!

I love that magnifying water bead & thanks to @MumenRyder for asking that question, I was totally wrong on how I envisioned the photo setup.
Mr. Sparkle sets a high bar and that pushes me to up my game.

Thanks all for the kind compliments

@MumenRyder its having a non or low reflective black background that helps with that, why i have that black fabric which i should correct its not velour but actually just a cheap chunk of black one sided fleece fabric, was discount stuff at the time and was like $2-3 cnd a meter and came in a 140cm width or whatever, was worth the couple bucks in my opinion, just need to go to a fabric store for it.

Day 26/14/5

To me they are all a bit behind day wise, but i attribute that to the hand watering, anyways hooked up the pumps last night for the square pots. Swecan’s two remaining autos in my cab are both female so no male pollen on this go. As for the others was thinking of crossing between two of the GSCxDD just cause should be interesting to see what comes out in f2’s and it always produces nice dense ball like buds to it.

The others though, yeah got carried away starting too many plants… not like that has ever happened before lol.

The big bedded plant is a partial mutant, but just letting it do its thing, needs a water though, and the other plant that was in the big container i downgraded to a smaller, but still large to me square pot, actually is a 5.5" kord i foiled up that came with some nursery plants we got last weekend for the front of our building.

Still wanting a growth ray… zap zap lol

I love these pictures! I need to invest in some black fabric. I’ve been using the side of my black chest freezer

What effects it with the hand watering vs the auto watering?

its just that with coco you can cycle over the water more frequently vs say me hand watering when i determine it needs it which is every couple days when young to once a day when they start to get older, auto though like right now its every 8hrs at a lesser volume and i will go down to every 6 or less.

Man id like some auto watering just to negate the messing with it all every day. How much would they water? Like 200ml or less?

depends on what i set it at and time frame for it, but think its 190ml for a 6 sec watering event out of four nozzles in total right now every 8hrs, will probably go to a longer 10-12sec watering time and more events per day, but this is where i started this go just cause its easier to notice and adjust running on the drier side than starting off too wet and then having to wait for things to dry before trying your next setting.

Day 29/17/8

Moving along, started spraying some plants as of two days ago trying some things. Been keeping the bigger plant flopped back with its main shoot, and just removed all the C9D’s on the left side but one of them right now because ill need the space shortly with the other plants and didn’t need to run those just too much at once for my small space.

Also followed up on sunday and reduced my strips on the left side from 14 down to 10 like i did awhile back on the right side just to keep things the same between them, but then decided to try some higher light levels last night so… reduced the strips but increased the amperage that they individually see making them a bit less efficient than if i just kept the 14 strips and ran them near nominal  , but anyways ive been liking the 10 strip layout more for just my own reasons.
