Has anyone here defeated powdery mildew?

great, so you are claiming to legit disagree on a subject with an expert, but you don’t know the basics of mildew morphology. Real brilliant.

Not a troll, just pointing out that I experienced similar behaviour from you, which is out of character with the typical kind demeanour I’ve otherwise experienced on OG.

You, an expert…

Well, I suppose we can agree on that, I am an expert. Anyone reading this thread will know it when they read what I posted and eradicate mildew. That’s when you are exposed as the troll who just wants to try and convince people to believe in lies so they can have mildew forever, just like you. Enjoy mildew!

I’ve never messaged you in my life, so step back troll.

Actually , you are absolutely right! I’m sorry for the accusation, I’ve seen you on here a lot and your aggressive tone and way of interacting with people is very similar to that of the person who messaged me and was reported to mods. Again, not a troll, my mistake and owning it. I thought it was you and didn’t check my DMs, egg is on my face.

Cheers.

That’s ok mistakes happen! I just have to aggressively defend the truth against the trolls, you should come back when it’s learning class time again, right now it’s just troll stomping mid game break. Some entertainment for the fans of blood sport, not that I actually have to respond to them lol!

Hey don’t worry, you should get some notes from vernal, he spent the last 2 years trying to gaslight me. Instead my reputation took off like mad when people actually tried the sulfur protocol and discovered it was all true. He started out denying the fact sulfur works and that was hilarious! You sure you don’t want to try that one as well?

Gardening books from 100 years ago advise using sulfur joe, it’s hardly a new thing but is it healthy on plant matter you might be smoking soon? You never know eh some think you might summon witches. Clearly they are nuts, everyone knows the elves are responsible…

Okay that’s enough. You are all arguing like children here. I’m slowing this thread to allow you all to cool off. If it keeps up I will have to close it.

Environment has everything to do with it .

1st time I saw it Ii got bad advice, put a dehumidifier in tent. guess what next day it was everywhere. buy drying the air the spores multiplied . Then next lights out it got humid and they germinated .

I am of the opposite thinking. Its not systemic . It’s in the air all around us and shows up when opportunity arises here’s what it looks like with magnification.

Ya see one of these bad boys lands on your leaf if the plant is weak it will penitrate the leafs surface then next day you will see
190414_204558 multiple doohickeys

Finally day after
190415_213708

Something like that at this point millions and biillions of doohickeys are flying round and round your environment until they land on more leafs .

the filter it traps the doohickeys so there is only a few thousand airborne instead of a few billion see how it could help?

you realize that it takes 40+ days for the mildew colony to be visible to the human eye, right?

Untrue. It can take as little as a week.

Can I ask u what your method was? Would rather not scroll through a all that

Sure, mix 1 tablespoon… or half that if you prefer, of powdered sulfur(90%) per liter of water. Spray that on the plants 2 weeks apart, the mildew will be dead. Coat the plants good, but never spray on after an oil product, you’ll have to wash the plants off first if you did that.

“The time from when conidia land to the production of new conidia can be as short as 72 hours, but is more commonly 5-7 days”

I mean, this was written by a doctor in a plant pathology department of a university, but I’m sure you know better than them because you heard it on a podcast lol.
