Hash Making Revisited

The tech I use is how I crush the dreams of hash makers everywhere. They are my personal dabs, but also, they smoke the competition at the contest. Blah blah gaining me the adoration of legends in the industry, and so on. Live extracts are where it’s at! I make the live extract bubble hash and then live rosin. That’s industry standard.

Yeah and there are definitely benefits to all of that but like I said I’m lazy , I used to be on the cutting edge of the extract game but now I just dig some out of the bottom of a tote and sprinkle it on the bowl.

I’m still learning about hash, so may be a dumb question. But is the micron size based on it’s a dry sift? 220 and 160 are just tossed with Bubble.

Depends on what bag system you running
The first few bags (220-160)are for filtering out the bulk of your green start up material
120-90-73 will be catching the bulk of ripest resin glands most are after(this will also vary between different strains)
45-25 collects the less mature glands, stalks and finer green material which can also be puffed or made into edibles or creams ect

I just ran mine for the first time! Love those little washing machines

I always wondered how they would stack up against hand made. Here’s my harvest, just chilling in the freezer!

Thank you. I was specifically asking about the pollen tumbler above. It only has 220, 160, and 120 screens.

Is there a minimum time you need to leave the fresh bud in the freezer before making bubble?

$200 plates + $250 20 ton H jack from harbor freight = a $450 20 ton rig. When compared to other 20 ton rigs you’re saving $500 or more.

I use the 120 and its excellent then use some 25 micron bags to press.
Dabpress for the desktop 12 ton win.
4" x 7" plates and I never use half the gauge…usually around 2500 psi on the gauge.

I’d leave it in there over night to make sure it’s good and frozen. I usually leave it in there for a few days while I’m making loads of ice!

ruh-oh Scoob! Haunted amusement park!!! Fuck me. OK. So I got the kilo of weed, and it turns out that it’s freeze dried weed. And… And… It’s contaminated! Now, I have no idea where this weed came from, really, but I know this:
It has to be outdoor. It’s from some place that’s serious, because it’s a kilo of freeze dried weed in a smell proof sack that could contain probably 5 Kilograms.

Now, how do I know all of that? I went and 'scoped it.

Yah that’s what freeze dried outdoor looks like… complete with contamination.

Some help here, I got a set of 4 bags but I’m only keeping 25 and 73um and I am using 160 as workbag.

Don’t know if I am waisting something good or not.

Also I made a little bubble hash, let it dry for 24h and placed it in small jars, is it ok? Should I place it in the freezer or something?

Tank you all, I only got 1,5g of hash feom 40g of trimmings so I need to take care of it.
