IME transplanting is more likely to rescue the situation than flushing… they’re showing that with the droopy overwatered look.
agreed @cannabissequoia , transplanting into fresh lightly moist soil would be a good bet.
these might even be a little root bound, in experience that can happen pretty quickly in solo cups. Sometimes they can become root bound by the time they start making 5 blade leaves, especially if they don’t love their soil mix.
The lebanese and its hybrids are light feeders, but they have already been grown by friends using bottled nutes before with good results.
In general landraces are sensitive to available nitrogen so it’s theoretically possible you might come across a pheno in the lebanese or vietnamese that can’t handle salt based nutes, but I haven’t run into that problem with these lines.
Thank you, @cannabissequoia I transplanted them and the soil was drenched.
Thank you @zephyr, I transplanted them and they were root bound, as well as soaked. I bought some Mega Crop after reading some reviews in here, haven’t switched to it yet. In your opinion, should I try switching?
@Esrgood4u – what’s the amendment regimen for MegaCrop?
I had OK results but saw the weird browning that others did with MC v1.0
I found the v1 to be better than the v2 mate if I’m honest. I don’t use the MC calculator. They seem happy and thrive well at around the 850ppm level.
Saying that this auto run I’m on now I’ve pushed them up to 1000ppm. Only amendment I ever make is a little Epsom if they seem like they need it and some P.K once they get into full flower.
The one recommendation I’d give is to mix the megacrop in a little hot water to ensure everything dissolves and then add that solution to your water. Megacrop leaves a lot of residue so regular cleaning of my rez and water filters is required to stop blockages from happening and ruining your crop.
Thank you, I appreciate the input. I’ve always used bottled nutes and would not have considered the hot water to aid in the dissolving. I’ll hold off a week or two, let them de-stress, before I start to switch.
No worries at all. I love megacrop for it’s simplicity. I’ve used it in DWC (bubble buckets) in the past and the plants loved it and grew huge. I’m gonna invest in a commercial RDWC system at some point this year just for the hell of it to see what I can achieve yield wise and I’ll be using megacrop with that system also.
So far everyone I gave these strains to has used salt based hydro nutrients with coco coir or soil in outdoor grows, and their plants grew huge and healthy.
My recommendation for the lebanese, lebanese sinatra, and pleiades x silver mountain would be to start the megacrop at half the recommended application rate, and gradually increase to the full dosage over a few weeks so you can be sure they tolerate it. I don’t think you’ll have any problems.
Personally I don’t have any experience with megacrop, I used to use soul synthetic nutrients by aurora, but switched to organic living soil to keep things cheaper.
A few years ago, I was introduced to a lady seeking relief from her morning MS symptoms.
After working with a few different strains, we found G-39 from NAW, NerdsAtWork that has been a total game changer for her and her husband.
2-3 pulls from a small pipe, and her 45+ minute ordeal to get out of bed without the hits, goes to 5-6 minutes.
I taught her how to grow it for herself, and now just as vigorous exercise, stationary biking, shadow boxing is part of her life after MS, so is the 2-3 puffs each morning. It has completely changed her life for the better.
Best wishes for the OP.
Thank you @webeblzr for the recommendation and for assisting another in improving their quality of life, that is commendable. I searched and could not find a vendor that had G-39 in stock. I sent a request to NAW for info and am awaiting a reply.
Do you know a vendor who may have some in stock?
Much appreciated,
Herb
These plants have survived their transplants, and are starting to regain strength, I ordered some cal-mag, just might give them a little… also, I think they need at least a week or two with full strength LITFA. I also redid their tags.
looks like a strong recovery, hopefully they’ll take off in the new pots.
Hey herb4ever, I’m sorry I did not see your request.
I have only bought them from NAW from Sannies.
It is a very solid strain, as I purchased a few packets over a couple of years, and all the plants were pretty much exact copies of the others, with maybe one or 2 variations, but all had identical structure.
The nerds work is all medical, and made, and worked with love for helping others.
Thank you, @webeblzr, NAW replied that they’ll be available Jan 2020. Sannies is currently out, too. I’ll find some eventually.
As a side note, I harvested some ILGM Bruce Banner that seems to be working very well. Uplifting and laugh inducing with one or two small hits, any more, ya get couch lock.
Hey herb4ever, you are most welcome. The nerds have some excellent strains. The lady and I used a few of their strains, and she told me, they all did offer her relief, it was just G-39 that really worked wonders for her.
Please remember, she and her husband, were never, like myself, just a typical stoner for the simple joy of it. However I was brought to the medical path for my wife, and my extractions, tinctures, edibles are just me trying to keep her cancer in remission. It’s 10 years now, but I am not saying we beat it, but beat on it .
Just give their list a bit of attention, as they really just work the medical side of our fav’s.
Best to everyone!
