Hemp seed meal as soil amendment

I just looked at prices and organic hemp seed meal costs the same as kelp meal in my country, lol.
How did I not think of this earlier. It’s so obvious.

You can also buy whole hemp seeds and grind them yourself, then they’re even cheaper.

Mix into your soil, or use as topdressing.

Good to add to your own diet as well, it’s a superfood. Perfect omega 3-6-9 ratio, high in protein,
20 different minerals, lots of vitamins.

It’s probably the only thing I’ll be buying for my plants anymore because I can eat it myself too. Everything else I can get from my garden: nettles, dandelion, thistle, clover, legumes, and all kinds of other plants that are rich in minerals and nitrogen. And free horse manure.

One word of caution to keep in mind…I had a friend recently use raw hemp seed to grind up into a meal for use as a top-dressing. Unfortunately, some ended up not getting fully ground up and upon wetting actually sprouted and pollinated his entire grow.
