Yeah if theres other plants in there its very possible its not even an s1.

Will do! Whatever it is its unique for me, never grown anything remotely as loud as these genetics. Best of all each seed has had the exact smell but diffrent looking plants.Ive grown alot of stinkers too and this is just another level of funk. I have a tent full of haze and hashplants all i smell is this plant when i walk in the grow.

There is a good chance that the hermie trait will become recessive in a cross with a different male (ok, those are not the exact terms, I know); I have done several crosses using very hermie-prone lines or even hermie plants and the offspring are always stable.
However, keep in mind that in f2 and so on the probability of there being hermies increases…

Okay thanks for that information as well. This has been quite useful and enlightening. Thats actually why im keeping the pnw male bc i figured its basically an old ibl afghan so would add stability to whatever it pollinates theoretically.

Okay so i decided im going to use my puck male to pollinate the do si dos. Hes too good looking not to use imo. The pnw puck has really good branching like the dosidos so hooefully that will carry over.Dosidos now in 5 gallon.
When space opens up theyll be flipped. My first time making seeds. I guess ill update whats going on in a few weeks. Ill need yalls help doing this, if u can help me through the process ll send you some of the seeds. I just want to pollinate half the plant not the tops so i know yall can help me here.
Hopefully yall can see why im so keen on this plant, foliage is blue almost. Camera not doing justice. I owe a huge thanks to @Headies12green for passing these to me. 
Hopefully he will stop by and look. Im going to take clones as backups in case this fails.

The progeny will just be a direct herm progeny. I don’t understand this need to complicate the sexuality of cannabis more than it is.

So for your case, i don’t see any point to don’t grow enough rounds of this female to collect enough seeds to launch a good ~50seeds round of S1s ^^
Think long term yes, but one time you found a way to have more than one specimen that smoke like this, right ? ^^
(dosidos x fortune cookie) x itself = you get DFC S1s “pures” to hunt for weed
(dosidos x fortune cookie) x (pnw puck) = you don’t care how are smoking these DFC-PP F1, you just directly cross it with S1 or the DFC cut to make a BX.
You can make DFC-PP x DFC cut, DFCP-PP x DFC S1 … many ways to skin a cat.
If you want to reduce the herm population, just use the fader and don’t use any herm specimen for a while. If weed matter more, transform your tolerance in margin … the time that the line is ready to be cleaned. At worse … you make your own fems with it to cheat the herms temporary for the next gen.
Play with the fader, make some scratchs and enjoy ^^

Thats a great idea so id cross these 2, select a dosidos phenotype from the f1s then cross it my remaing dosidos seed correct? And basically go from there just selecting dosidos phenos each run and crossing them together. This is a suoer long term project bc i only run it 1 x year. Just wanted to be able to go back to it later, know what i mean.

That’s imho the straightest way to get what you want. And eventually doing it again, to reinforce before being stabilized sexually.
So something like ;
DFC-PP F1 x DFC S1 = DFC BX1 F2 (reinforcement 1)
DFC BX1 F2 x DFC S1 = DFC BX2 F3 (reinforcement 2)
…
Even without pretending to make an accurate pro selection each round, mechanically you will get substainable results this way.

Right i get what your saying, thank you for helping me. Ill be back in couple weeks when they flip. I olan to use a qtip i guess and paper bags on the branches. Ive seen alot of people here do that.
But i do have a garage maybe i should put my male in there, and collect his pollen. Fun times ahead my first male to flower. Also may have a nevilles haze male, if so maybe ill let him do his thing w a dosidos clone if they root.

Thats the plan now so basically ill put him in garage when hes flowering. Should i just put some plastic under him for the pollen to fall? Then get the pollen, and keep it airtight? Sorry for ? Idk wtf im doing. Or can someone link me how to store pollen.Thankyou man ill send you some of the seed for helping me out. Like i mentioned i just want a small stash of seeds i can go to whenever it becomes legal here.
If i knew other growers id just pass the clone as a backup, but dont have that option. Sure as hell be alot easier than this. But here we are.

All ways lead to Rome but it’s how i’m maintaining different males in a 1x1.
The protection at the base have a double use : collecting pollen and don’t let it to cover the surface of the soil.
You have here the two main threads there where to get inspirations and intels.
But the “In doubt, trust how industrials are doing it” was more my lead on this one.
For the sequence it’s not rocket science, i swear.
- flower you male just like a female, but with twice PK : wait for the male’s buds forming and a yellow dominant color. If you feed rightly a male, the pollen take golden hues.
- don’t move or shake the male, just wait that most of leaves are covered and flowers that start to fall individually.
- harvest entirely or partially (just cut one stem and proceed it).
- sift with cares the harvest, hash shakers are good enough for this.
- dry the pollen as fast and on low RH that you can with what you have
- store 1-2 weeks in fridge, years in freezer
- when stored in freezer : you let the pollen get in temps then you use it or you throw it, no return even in the fridge.
You never need a small stash of seeds, but weighting the seeds over to count them because there is too much ^^ Never enough, trust me on this. And it’s becoming worse when first results are coming in general lol
Work her ass like it’s the end of the world, more. Stay rational and humble for this, the chance that this cut survive the most primed cuts in circulation is ultra low. Better to work her grade first, than trying to save her in Beta-herm version ^^ No ?
Try to make these terps shared by its progeny first, using the S1 and cuts in loop. It’s a bigger step than it appear.

Ill def read those links in full and apply to my grow. Thank you again for taking the time to help me out, its much appreciated. Hopefully i can start making my own seeds with stuff ive kept over the years.
Heres another " bagseed" i want to do the samething with, and keep around. Just very interesting structure thats assymetrical and zig zaggy, no clue on genetics. Fresh lime terpenes. Guess ill run again and use pollen like this dfc plant. No seed left of it so need to preserve it too…

So im moving forward now with the project. Ended up cutting a plant early. So my dfc is now in flower tent, shes a big girl already. The male puck will be moved into the garage each evening once he flowers. Then ill go from there pollinating a few branches. Fuel plz stick around im sure ill have questions along the way. Here they are, both had haircuts…

I meant garage once it starts flowering good. Repotting male tommrow and flipping. Female has hairs now. Has a very strong potpourri stem rub. She will turn dark purple to black soon, my cat loves this strain too. He likes to chew on on the fresh leaves haha…

Okay so i read all about males recently, and i have one question. When i apply the pollen how long should i quarantine my female? Or shuold i just put a brown paper bag over it, how long do i leave the bag on?
Thnx in advance i want everything to be perfect. I have my female a week ahead and already see the hairs popping up. Im shooting for week 4 or 5 to apply pollen. Did i mention i love this plant. Im trying to give her the special treatment so my seeds wil be healthy.

So far so good with both plants. I just left my pnw puck male in the little pot bc the colds already here, and didn’t wanna stunt him. My dfc is looking great too. I still might let the male just pollinate her completely bc the cold killed my snips… ill come back every couple days til its time…
