I’m sitting here thinking about my setup. I’m running a 600 watt hps in a cool tube in a 2x4 tent. I have a 4x4 tent and wondering why I’m not growing in that lol.
Just wondering peoples thoughts on this.

A 600 is great in a 4x4, surprised you’re not cooking that 2x4, you could drop down to a 400 and either not notice a difference or maybe even see an improvement.

Exactly @EugeneDebs420 even if you’re exhausting a cool tube, you could still end up with light stress. But as others mentioned It’s a good fit for a 4x4.

This is what I run two vented 600 watt hps in a 4x8
I don’t see why one in a 4x4 wouldn’t hurt if it was vented well.

My biggest 1 plant yield was off of a 600w ipower hps in a 4x4 tent. 1.4lbs cured weight.

i have run mh/hps 600 w/ cool tubes vented except for the last grow it was in a 10 x 10 room i am stepping into the 21st centuary and going led i may or may not sell my mh/hps set up havent decided yet
Quantum yeild increases as PPFD decreases. you can expect more yield if u increase the canopy size.
