High Temperature power cut-off

I’m surprised i can’t find more info on this, but i’m sure people use this

If my AC went down or turned off, the temperature in my flower room would exceed 100f, what i’m looking for is a outlet room temperature cut-off device so it turns off the lights, if the room exceeds a certain temperature

Thanks OG!

I use an Inkbird to control heat and ac in my grow room. They are cheap and work great. Put the probe in your room and it will cut off whatever you got plugged in when it hit’s a certain temp. The bottom link is the one I use. It’s $15 more but has WIFI so will alert you if there is an issue.

Those would work, thanks! what i was imagining was more of a “power surge” protector but for heat, i know those would act as, but i need a couple so $50 is a little steep, i was imagining literally this, but with only a cut off high temp of like 100f

I’m an HVAC guy. A thermostat, transformer and relay(s) could do several outputs from one thermostat. Idk how much cheaper it would be though. Guess I’m just old school but i can’t fix solid state parts when they break. I’m about to do a temp activated exhaust fan in my room

I use these. They work. Those that Doug pointed out are good. I just didn’t like mine I should’ve got Wi-Fi. The timer can be set for coolness and hot. I’ll put it on my heaters in the winter time. But I found out it was best just to turn it up. Got a little too cold on me last year. Same here when the AC goes out the temperature goes up. I’m glad for these cooler nights.

Nice, that’s what i was picturing, the one thing is that it only goes up to 86, i don’t want my lights to cut off at this “low” temperature, i was thinking more of a security/fire prevention thing where it cuts off at 95f or something, to prevent like… my cheap amazon lights to melt and catch fire, if they had one that did go up to 90 that would work too

i prefer have my plant hotter than having my AC on 24/7 like the last months

Inkbird makes a ton of stuff, we mostly use one line of products but they make similar stuff for other industries too that could be worth a look, like this beer brewing PID controller: https://www.morebeer.com/products/inkbird-pid-temperature-controller-ipb16s.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw7KqZBhCBARIsAI-fTKKyhbXcOx9FIwuJVRQEJaofGDuWiZ7853cXPMTmco7uSNUpTgMyndUaAsvsEALw_wcB
