Holy's Garden (Part 1)

:fire: yeah that sounds like what I’m after! Thanks bro, I hope I find it too!
Hope you find what you’re lookin for in those SROG’s :muscle:

Did you ever make F2’s of those? I have the G13 x Panama/Malawi and the Jungle Spice x Panama/Malawi on my short list…

I did not. That run was all about the 88g13hp X pan/mal.

There are a couple guys running the Triple Spice and it’s turning out super.

Day 32

These are definitely getting to the upper limits of Nitrogen uptake over here so for the latest feed I made some changes.

dropped the 1g/gal 10-30-20
increased the maxibloom from 5g/gal to 6g/gal
lowered the gypsum from 1.5g/gal to 1.2g/gal
added 1g/gal dry koolbloom

If my spreadsheet is accurate, this should drop the N by 10ppm, up P by 28ppm, up K by 15ppm, up mag by 1ppm and lower calcium by 4ppm.

5mb/1j132/1.5gy/0.2e 6mb/1kb/1.2gy
Total N 92.42 81.2
Total P 120.59 148.2
Total K 198 212.8
Total Mg 52.521 56.2
Total Ca 153 149
Total S 145 122
Total Fe 1.585 1.854
Ratios
Total N 0.47 0.38
Total P 0.61 0.7
Total K 1 1
Total Mg 0.27 0.26
Total Ca 0.77 0.7
Total S 0.73 0.57
Total Fe 0.01 0.01

It’s either gonna do what I want or its gonna fuck it all up
On a side note, I found 7 grams of maxibloom is basically the same as 5grams maxibloom and 1 gram jacks 10-30-20

Anyways, moar pics!

Seems like you might know, can I use HydroBuddy on an iPhone or do I need to be at a desktop? I just want to mess around with the epsom and gypsum mostly, some cal-nit foo, and see what numbers come out. Thanks for any info and help!

I think hydrobuddy is desktop only

I made my own spreadsheet for it. Can make a copy for yourself and play around with it

Perfect! Thanks!

So, I messed around with it and I’m going to see if making some changes helps or what. I’m curious about using MAP instead of MKP though, since Jack’s has quite a bit of K already. Are there negatives to that?

I have three formulas worked up for breaking the cycle down into three parts. I use 5-12-26, 15-0-0, and Gypsum, so I’ll put the amounts in that order.

-First part 4/2/0.6 which gives me:

N-132.082
P-55.34
K-228.08
Mg-66.576
Ca-129.972
PPM-735.148

-Second part 4/0.7/1.5 which gives me:

N-80.572
P-55.34 (I’d like to get this around 160)
K-228.08
Mg-66.576
Ca-120.465
PPM-716.926

Third part 3/0/2.1 which gives me:

N-39.627
P-41.505 (I’d like to this around 120)
K-171.06
Mg-49.932
Ca-122.052
PPM-594.957

Mainly just wondering if I can hit those numbers without driving others up cheaply and not having to buy another bag of Jack’s. Haha Any help and info is greatly appreciated!

Interesting… it looks like MAP should work fine  I probably wouldn’t use it in a reservoir setup, but top feeding and whatnot should do perfect. I need to reorganize the lists but I added MAP to the spreadsheet ^^

Yeah, the reservoir and using it is what I was wondering about. Any other way of boosting P without K also?

No not that I know of, save for dropping jacks and going with something else like maxibloom. I don’t like the way my plants look on pure jacks. They always look deficient to me.

I got there using the 5-50-18, so I’ll grab a bag of that and try these formulas. I’ll share them for anyone interested. The order listed will be 5-12-26/15-0-0/Gypsum/5-50-18.

Part A- 3.6/2.2/0.3/0.4

Part B- 2/0.6/1.6/2.3

Part C- 2/0/2.1/1.6

Thanks for the calculator/spreadsheet!

Edit: The price on the 5-50-18!!! Unreal.
