she’s been getting more musky as time goes on. Excited but still really tempted to toss the clone of her. Still finding nanners here and there but haven’t seen any seeded calyx’s yet.

Have you run this one before if so how she smokes
I was looking at the Meridian Hase , which I believe is c5 in the genetics

Oh yeah bro, you’ve seen the mom in Part 1 of this journal for years now 
This is an F4 I made from the F3 parent’s I had. I had the mom for a few years before she got HLVD and had to get tossed earlier this year. No clean cuts of her anywhere that I’m aware of sadly. The male died long ago, the first time I got HLVD.
The mom’s smoke was uplifting, euphoric but super clean and clear, saturated colors in your vision, lasts 3-4 hours, and the comedown is non-existent. When she’s done you’d feel like you didn’t smoke anything that day. She’d cut through any other herb like a hot knife through butter off the first hit. Like you didn’t smoke anything at all yet.
Her offspring seem to be a bit more mellowed out tho Bit more euphoric in an evening way, like the bandaid hazes and other A5/piff stuff going around lately. None of those are get-shit-done herb. That stuff is all lay-back and chill herb at best, for me. Some of it puts me to sleep. Maybe not for others, but definitely for me.
The mom’s sister, that I also made seeds with but haven’t looked at yet, was a 1-hit K.O. plastered to the couch and pass TF out high. SensiStar leaner I’m sure. She finished quicker too. Maybe 10 weeks or so. I used the same male on both girls. Thinking the male was a bit of a c5/ss hybrid than the more pure haze type the mom seemed to be, despite his looks.
I ran a pack or so of the Meridian Haze(C5 x C5 x Jack Herer), also in part 1 of this journal, and IMO the Jack is fucking strong in that line. Looked like Skunk everywhere. I didn’t see much haze in what I had but I didn’t have much either. I’m sure it can be found though. I have some other hazy things from SAN still to run too, but so far, this C5SS has been my favorite of the last two decades outside of the NorthStar(C5SS x A5 x NL5) I made. The haze leaners remind me of the Haze I had back in the day. Daytime herb.

Ended up chopping the TK and the MaMilk F3 #3 last night @catapult
TK apparently died in the pot a week or two ago 
It’s not bap but… it’s not good either. Ended up tossing most of the plant save for a couple flowers. Sadness. Oh well though. These pots and whatnot were all an experiment and now I know I for sure need taller bags for even just the µ-octo’s. Yet another thing @jetdro was 100% spot-on about. Sometimes gotta find out for yourself the hard way tho
So no TK pics.
I also sadly don’t have a full plant shot of the MaMilk. She also could’ve went another week or two but there were soo many whiteflies and I was quickly running out of green fan leaves for them to stay on.
That is one… okay thing about the whiteflies i guess, they tend to only wanna be on the fan leaves and don’t seem to do much at all to the buds/sugar leaves unless you have no fan leaves…
Anyways, It took me 4 or so hours to trim her down, snip the leaves, and wash all the branches. Did a bottle of 3% H202 into a 5 gallon bucket, and then two plain buckets. I read up a ton on bud washing and this was at least the for sure safe-bet. Not trying to experiment with baking soda/lemon juice on these flowers. Technically my second time washing buds Hopefully won’t have to again.
Now onto the goodies…
Haven’t tested the smoke yet but I think this MaMilk F3 might be one of the better plants I’ve ever grown… I ended up with like ~20 of these at day 70:
That is post fan leaf removal only so as you can see, trimming is an absolute breeze on this girl
Maybe 3 leafs per bud that need plucked and that’s it.
Post wash hanging as of this morning
If she smokes anywhere near as good as she looks, I’m totally fine being out of TK for another few months

Ouch sorry bout the TK. I guess it would make sense that she in particular, would want a bigger dry zone than those mini octos seem to have.

She is a beauty and a yielder it seems. Nice find! And, she virtually self-trim’s, which we love about the MM. Looking forward to the smoke report as well.
I use the same bud wash technique (as needed); one peroxide bucket w 2 rinses. It works great for me.

Sounds a lot like the MM31 cut - it was such a productive plant. Easy trim and a shit ton of flopping nugs everywhere. It was definitely more of an evening relax high for me… terpenes earthy OG with creamy / spices notes.
