Several years ago ,it was dry and I hand watered 80 gallons twice a week. Never again. When hand watering my attention falls away just as the produce comes in and has to be processed.

It really does, I had to make a water can with a snorkle to put in the hole with the plant stem because otherwise the water ran off the fabric onto the paths. When I put a bale of peat in a bed , it usually helps hold water and reduce waste.

Irrigation is not my forté because I live in an apt and I’m too afraid to even have a rez for hydro. If it breaks I’m in trouble.
