How do you coffee?

I put that much milk in my coffee it’s probably a waste lol
Did bring a jar into work for the pro coffee drinkers they liked it

Moka pot with my home roasted beans from Sweet Maria’s every day post afternoon nap:) I also own a french press, dripper, and ibrik.

I have my coffee everyday but really only before work, and haven’t always had pleasant results combining caffeine and weed.

That being said, I know plenty of people that do enjoy the combo, and I have gotten away with it depending on my tolerance at the time.

You go just a tad heavier than I do! I like a little coffee in my cream too!

No matter espresso, flavored or regular coffee, I have to have cream in my coffee. No sugar, double cream!

I almost always choose Iced coffee as well.

Now that the attitude to have lol! I’m just looking forward to my morning coffee with morning bowl. Set me for the day. Wether I have black coffee, or just a bit of room for cream or milk.

lol I use a white pourovwr small hole in bottom pourover With Filter in but I usually drink tea organic green or earl grey black tea or Scottish breakfast tea barrys Ireland :ireland:

Good old Chemex for many many moons, I also use a cuisinart percolator for the first cup of the day as with the timer it’s ready the second I get out of bed, have dozens and dozens of really good import blends, I also REALLY enjoy three sisters beans from B.C , stuff is delicious even in a regular percolator. I always have a 3-4 bag supply on hand. We drink a whole lot of coffee in my household

@anon98660487 that stuff is so damn good, the versions I’ve had were in little brown bags just marked civet and were washed whole beans, and we had one pre ground that was in phillipino writing. My wife and I have several Phillipino friends and she works with many as well, some of the kindest, most generous people I’ve met. One of her good friends built a home out there. And buried a small fortune in the concrete of the walkway leading up, then proceeded to tell us that many many well off phillipinos do this…. Crazy to me to think of the money laying dormant under peoples homes :man_facepalming:t2:I have not been gifted any in a few years since covid began, your pic had me drooling :drooling_face:

The Aeropress is not for the clumsy, as I determined around the 6th time I spilled just-shy-of-boiling water and coffee grounds all over the kitchen counter. That was the end of my year with an Aeropress.

My daily coffee these days is ground in a burr grinder and dripped into a Zojirushi stainless steel carafe shared with my wife as we work from home. Generally speaking we get whole bean coffee roasted by a local company, but occasionally we take the lazy route and get pre-ground coffee from the grocery store.

When I want a treat, I use my hario syphon pot with a butane burner. Excellent coffee and a geeky science activity at the same time. The syphon pot brings out actual flavors in even the cheapest coffee, though it’s pretty much wasted on any mass produced grocery store coffee.

I found most of the country’s that grow the best coffee don’t know how to prepare it right, so ironically Spain is probably the best coffee I’ve ever had. Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica all these places struggle to brew a good cup, Indonesian coffee is like mud… you only drink the bottom of a cup once, nasty.

@Foreigner was spot on with the food, you’ll find it differs from region to region slightly for example Nicaragua uses red beans in their pinto and here in Costa Rica it’s black beans. The Caribbean coast has great food and quite different to the pacific. Chifrijo is a classic Costa Rican dish that I like a lot and as @Panamajock said ceviche is great too. The best I’ve had was at the huge seafood market in Panama city, wow.

The coffee fields here in CR are pretty much run on cheap labour from Nicaragua and kids. My wife’s mother as a child would spend all her spare time working in the coffee fields. Not for the faint hearted

My favorite in CR …….Gallo pinto there for breakfast with two soft fried eggs on the top, withe a dash of hot sauce …y wee bit Lazano.

Luckily for me …a few cafe ,kiosk is , restaurants do it,all here using yesterday’s rice y beans. Lol

Your totally correct about regions…won’t get it in other regions of Panama, but then Chiriqui was part of Costa Rica ,like quanacaste was part of Nicaragua. Back in the day.

Ame h, coffee is picked by the local indigenous Indians the Knobe…,Bri Bri etc.
They work all days on the slopes of this Volcano picking coffee beans for a pittance…

The Bri Bri Indians were the folks who grew the Talamanica weed in the caribe side of CR, around Manzanllo, Cahuita etc
Was there cash crop…that was all destroyed. By the Goverment of Cr and USA as part of Ronald Reagan’s war on drugs.

Yet there are fincas here , mostly owned by Europeans ie. Jansen…who grow this Giesha shit, live in luxury…ye we need a bit of leveling up.

I had a wicked shark ceviche in Guatemala that I’d love to have again. It was like a citrus steak.

And I often want a desayuno tipico. So simple.

And a pupusa from a pupuseria on a busy street corner - priceless.

And chicken tamales.

And chicken chow mein on a tostado.

Now I’m hungry thanks guys.
