Should the people that have to ignore someone also ignore anyone that reply to that person, to be able to follow a thread without “banter” everywhere?
That’s where your reasoning about ignoring does not work. It only leads to fragmentation. How would threads work if everyone ignore each others? Everyone would only have access to parts of the thread. With sometimes answers to posts from people they ignore, because they forgot to ignore the people that replied…
Why is it so hard to understand that “banter” is not always relevant or is sometimes annoying others, listen to them and move on? There are tons of threads around.

i was thinking i believe everyone here is allowed in the *private lounge isn’t that lounge off public internets.
Yes the private lounge is off limits to the public and some members. I’m pretty sure this thread is visible to the public

The way I see flag-it mentality: “My default action is to run to the schoolteacher, or a police officer, any time someone expresses themselves using words that hurt my feelers… I may live in Texas but, if I can affect enough change locally, I can turn Texas into a little California where people are legislatively fined for expressing their innermost feelings”.

I just move on no reason to cause a stink. I usually just giggle and say wow to myself that’s about all you get out of me with offensive stuff. Trust me nothing on OG is going to register as offensive. I’m here to learn so i don’t care what anyone says no matter what is said. But i will say you guys do a good job and keep it up. I love this place.
