How to keep smell down but take advantage of CO2 system?

I got the stuff to do it just never have

How big is your tank, @TheShowMeHomie?

Here’s a photo of my tank at the shop that fills them. It’s a 50 pound tank, and that little one next to it is a 20 pounder. The shop charges about $18 to fill a 20 pound tank, so the value of filling a bigger tank is tremendous.

I use these. Simple idea. Temp one is hooked up to a fan from the outside and humidity one is hooked up to a carbon filter in the room exhausting out to the basement

That looks like the size of one from an acetylene torch so I’m guessing mine is 30-40 it’s that big around but bout waist high

Just to think I turned down a big 250lb tank from a restaurant. Kicking myself now.

Is that the weight of the tank when it’s full, @Daytripr69 ? Because if you’re talking about a tank that can hold 250 pounds of CO2, the total weight would be closer to 400 pounds or more. My 50 pound tank weighs around 150 pounds when it’s full - and it’s a NIGHTMARE to get down into my basement! It’s not shaped in such a way that you can just grab and move it.

TBH, I didn’t even know they made a 250 pound tank, though I’ve seen a 200 pounder. If you don’t have stairs to deal with AND you have a ceiling mounted engine hoist in your garage, or a forklift, I’m sure you can manage to get it off your truck and onto a dolly to move around. OR, you could pay your CO2 supplier a delivery fee and let them worry about transporting it.

Oops, I jut realized there’s another option for moving a tank that large: several very strong and trustworthy friends who can show up at the same time.

So in reality, you might be kicking yourself if you didn’t turn it down!

It was one of the big silver tanks. That thing would last quite a while. Definitely would be a hassle to move around when full
