I am on a new extraction process as well this time with the last lady I talked about,I cut her today.I got very very frosty trims and I am drying right now

Ok. So I come from future 4200. Been a regular there for over a year. The forum is based on hydrocarbon extraction and distillate production.
The general consensus over there is that only cannabinoids and a maximum of 5% terps. Some distillate will still be too thick after mixing terps with light heat and a homogenizer. Add cbda distillate to dilute thick mixes.
The smartest guys in the industry hang out at future 4200 , and all of them say that vaping pg, vg or mct oil is a no go.
Rosin carts are a tougher at home job, but basically the same rules apply. Only cut cannabinoids with other cannabinoids that are thinner

I would love to hear the reasoning behind this.
I vape ecigs, so I personally am not adverse to the presence of PG, I have vaped it all day long for the last 10 years. Keep it below 420F to avoid creating thermal degradation carcinogens. I have studied PG and VG thermal degradation and know the safe ranges, but MCT I dont know about so I wouldnt try it.
All of the distillates I have tried were thick like cold honey, this required a special atty. The motivating factor to try PG is to get a viscosity that will work in regular attys.

Honestly I can’t tell you the reasoning off the top of my head. Only that the guys who I respect and who also stand to profit the most from cutting agents, those guys operate by that policy. Really I can’t understand half of the scientific papers that those guys post.
Come on over to future4200. All of the answers are there. Make sure to check the date of what you are reading, as 2 years ago diluents and pg we’re acceptable practice.
Fwiw I used to partake in mct cut carts years ago, no one got sick . Now I’m into flower and hash. That’s why I’m here

Before jumping into making my first THC vape pen refill, I’m curious about your experiences with vape packaging and if the suggested recipe of diluting filtered BHO with vegetable glycerine is the best approach for quality refills. Any insights?

Wanted to share this site with you guys. They are alt noids yes ( and classics like cbd , etc ) , but they do sell refillable disposables and carts that are cheap and work well for me !

As far as I know, the best diluent is MCT, a natural coconut oil extract.
I’ve tried it with glycerine and my impression is of a lot of “vapour/smoke”… and the flavour is also characteristic of the thinner. I’ve also tried PG and other options, but the main problem is that if the pen/vaper reaches over 180/220 (I’m not sure of the temperature limit), it could be carcinogenic… so I don’t recommend it.
With MCT, I’ve always had good results. There’s no change in taste/flavour…

Theirs very good products their. Maybe reach out to them via email and see if they can work something out for a brazil shipment. Sorry if that wont work out for ya !!! They’re good people it seems, they replaced a whole jar of Distillate when I found a little flake in it ( they are human too not robots lol, since I began purchasing from them in like 2022 this instance is the only time I ever saw any contaminates in the disty. It simply failed the quality check because They are human XD. )
