How to properly overgrow a tent

Awesome man, love it. This really piqued my interest.

I had to take some time to gather the courage to show the less resplendent parts lol
And finish the 10kg of fried chicken I ordered :yum:

Thank you for the look behind the curtain and into the inner workings and behind the scenes of overgrowing the tent.

I went through several emotions seeing that post including laughter, intrigue, surprise and amazement.

I think I’m even more impressed that you managed to post it after eating all that chicken!

Nice, I am really paying attention to that. Never revegged a plant but want to do it with my little Sour Bubble. Looking at that pic of yours is really good for me, I appreciate you posting it.

I think more people should show their mistakes and runty plants. Growing isn’t always easy and perfect. No matter how good a grower you become, there will always be plants that will have you scratching your head.

And since more and more people are growing for personal I think it’s important to show how one can keep in smoke using a smaller tent :slightly_smiling_face:

Of course I push it to the limit with numbers and variety - and that method does bring problems nutrient wise. Someone going for say 6-12 plants , running the same 2 dialed strains over and over could be rewarded with top smoke in a very fun and compact setup

Amen brother. I always said, the only grower I will pay attention to is the one that shows the good, the bad and the ugly. There was always a B side to every album and it is almost more important than the main song. We learn the most from our issues, don’t learn near as much when all goes well.

Now that is truly over growing a tent! Lol

Those Sour Strawberry look really nice my friend.

Speaking of runts…I see a bunch of folks throwing out their runts but I tell you some of the best herb I’ve ever grown has come from dwarf or mutant plants!! Them recessive genetics I guess…

Another odd thing I’ve found as well…I NEVER go off of the impression I get from the seed mother plants! So many times I’ve grow out a particular strain and found phenotypes that were only mediocre…but when ran as a clone turned out absolutely amazing and always finished quicker than the original seed mother…it’s not because of genetic maturity either…I’ve vegged some seed plants 6 months before flowering and the clones have always been quicker and usually better quality as well!

But then there’s genetic drift and bunch of other things that can happen when not properly takin care of…

Cannabis is a crazy plant I tell ya!

Not sure where I was even going with that story…just a stoned thought when I read your comment about runts…lol

Well thank you good sir, I’m just happy I managed to make some seeds and maybe get a good mother or 3  also , I don’t know if you remember but I offered you a breeder pack weeks and weeks ago, before they were even flowering… so yeah seeing them seeded and healthy is taking a bunch of weight off my shoulders lol

That’s something I noticed too, I can’t say all cuts are better… but I agree that sometimes the cut is truly spectacular- head and shoulders above the seed plant.

Runts, man. I have this love hate relationship with runts lol. I really hate wasting grow space since, yknow, I’m no warehouse grower. But when I find a runty bastard plant that crosses so damn well to everything it touches, it’s all worth it.

I had a pineapple chunk, ugly as can be, but turned everything she touched to gold.

Give a bastard a chance

I want to say - damn I can’t wait to harvest this run, seems like I’ve been flowering them for 15 weeks and I think we’re at week 8-9 lol

yeah… top floor is now my veg room and bottom is flower - let’s just assume there are a shit ton of light leaks…

Orange 12 seems to be uhh confused  lol
I spotted a curled leaf, looking like she’s trying to reveg. And tum Tam tuhhh a few nanners, fille de joie! A la rue!

Anyway. I’m going through the orange plants and I’ll probably chop most of them tonight :muscle:

A week ago I cut a few unpolinated lower buds of orange 1 and 6 and left them to dry in my veg cab. Rough, I know.

Thing is, they still reek of oranges, lmao.
