Hi,
I have a new property and I am considering to switch operations over there.
Unfortunately there is no cellar. And growing would only be possible in 1st floor. And 1st floor has big and long windows which you can see from street. So is there any way to make the windows stealthy without attracting suspiciousness?

I’d go with curtains facing the street. Nothing overly dark or even black out style. Just enough you can’t see through when the sun is shining in. Then on the outside of that put panda paper over white side facing out. Cover edges with black ducktape and put thumb tacks or staples through panda paper/duck tape. The tape will keep it sealed and the thumb tacks will add more strength so its not falling all the time. You can also frame the windows in with 3x1 wood slats to give a base for the panda paper. So it won’t look like anything is pushing on the blinds.

Can you explain that part again pls? What are you suggesting to do and why? I mean what is that for?

Or years ago I got a board the size of the window stapl3d the cu5ain 5o it. Cut a hole in the back of the board. Sliced the curtain with a knife to let the air out. Net curta8n hides all the messy and mak3s it look normal.

Panda paper is a thick vinyl that is black on one side and white on the other. Put the white side facing to the window. So even if there’s a tiny gap white will look less conspicuous then black imo. Panda paper blocks light very well. You’ll want to use tape so you know all the seams are shut. Yet tape alone won’t hold very long. If you use thumb tacks or staples through where the panda and tape meet it’ll hold indefinitely.

I am wondering if you have a room with serveral windows where the curtains gets never lifted is suspicious?
i have 28 strawbales wrapped in plastic in front of mine. 
those aquarium wallpaper/background things are great.
more seriously, build a rough wood square frame, staple & glue a zero-light/IR transmissive material/combination. it can be semi-permanent or detachable with some kind of quick-release anchors. make it match existing colors, even put some curtains or blinds in front of the panel.

you like your privacy… enough said… maybe you re a nudist… I use black out curtains, cheap and easy to put up…
the more inconspicuous you try to make it. the more suspect it’s gonna look…

B4 you put up blinds leave windows totally open n walk around butt naked. After no ones going to say anything about your blinds not moving lol. And maybe you’ll get a new bf/gf haahaha

currently this is my grow space… I dont have the curtains up yet but meh… if the light in the room is on all day, who are the snoopy neighbors that are recording your movement? lol

I’ll never forget a busstop story from school… this kid had a former soviet neighbor who’d stand in the window in his underwear & eat ice cream staring out at people.
So, yeah, it’s all about the neighborhood.
The phase when no-one leaves curtains open is the phase before iron security bars, fences, & intimidating dogs. That’s about where I’m at.

Is it a main corridor of the house? If it is, I think that blocking the windows would be suspicious.

I got a better one lol. So my mom had a house in the country. It was the kind of house that if some one ever did drive by it was at 60+ mph. So leaving the windows open was never n issue. So I was home alone n had the down stairs big screen to myself. I did what any teenage boy would do. Ran down stairs popped in a porn n got friendly with Rosie. Our living room had large French doors with lots of glass. As I said no car would be an issue yet I felt like someone was watching me. I look over and see a horse. This horse is straight up stairing at me after making eye contact with it my eyes slowly move up. I make eye contact with a beautiful girl she’s looking jaw dropped. She must of liked what she seen bc she obviously was watching awhile. Wish the story ended better yet I was a shy kid. I jumped behind the couch n ran up the stairs. I’ve been an exhibitionist ever since lol.

If you put up blackout boxes behind your curtains, there are timers that turn lights on and off randomly to make it look like you’re home, while on vacation.

Black out the windows in what ever fashion you like, then invite all your new neighbores to a swinger party!
No need to walk naked around, hoping they might see you. After an invite like that, no one will wonder why your windows are blocked out.
And should some of the neighbores turn up, just tell them in best Borat style, that the wife is too ugly!
