I now spray down my plants with H0CL for pathogens, and Safers End All for insects before coming inside.
What @buzzmobile is showing is exaclty the nightmare I set myself up for due to not worrying about contamination before bringing inside.

Autos don’t need the extended dark time to flower, that’s why I don’t believe these are autos. They need longer dark hours to flower.
If you can, I would suggest you keep, them in Veg stage for the transition inside. Don’t flip immediately; take at least a couple weeks to “clean” your plants of potential pest and pathogens, even if you aren’t seeing any apparent outbreaks.
I use neem oil w Isopropyl and soap for pests. And sulfur and/or copper for mold/fungus. The caveat being oil and sulfur don’t mix nicely together, that burns plants. So, I allow a week between an oil application and a sulfur application. Some recommend longer periods b/w them. I find a week can suffice but I will also spray down the plants w Mg water or H2O2 a few times to rinse off the oils.
Autos at 12 weeks should almost be finished. Something wrong here
Bringing plants from outside is likely to bring in pests that can thrive that’d be my main concern especially if you’ve other plants indoors.
Thanks for replying.
So when you say don’t transition them and keep in veg stage what does that mean? How many hours of light or what to do?
I don’t have any indoor plants or insects that I can see. How would you suggest to clean plants and my room, in a more natural way?
Neem oil, isopropyl with soap sounds good. But what ratio and any hand wash?
Also, if these are not auto flowering do I need to do something for them to flower?
My guy, this has been answered multiple times, even by yourself.
Auto’s transition to flower on their own schedule whenever they are ready/ mature. Non-auto’s are called photo-period plants and they require at least 12 hours of darkness, daily, to trigger their transition to the flowering stage of growth. So, in order to keep them in the Vegetative stage you need to give them a light schedule that limits the dark hours to less than 12 hours per night. 18 hours of lights on and 6 hours off; is a commonly used schedule.
Yes, clean the space you are moving them to, but it’s really the plants that you are bringing inside that have been outside that you want to focus on. They may have hidden pests that may not be apparent at first look, but once moved inside they can become quite a problem.
To “clean” the plants you will want to spray them down w an appropriate pesticide. In this scenario I would do a “heavy” cleaning protocol, meaning that I would spray them every few days for a couple two to three weeks. First week would be w my Neem mix, then a week of Epsom salt and/ or Hydrogen peroxide to feed and rinse off the oil residues. Then at least one sulfur spray. Make sure to hit both tops and underside of all leaves and all stems.
The easier option is to use something like what @PhilCuisine suggested above. The cheaper option, in the long run, is to use a homemade blend like I suggested. For Neem oil, I use a product labeled 70% Neem that is intended for plant use and I use a 1.5 Liter spray bottle. I mix 1.5 teaspoons of Neem, 2 Tablespoons of isopropyl, and 2 Teaspoons of Dr. Bronners soap.
Hope that clears up some of your uncertainties @FlyingYogi . And good luck w your grow
actually i meant is there any procedure or nutrients which will the plant grow flower. but I understood now. Thanks!
thanks bro! I think i have some pests. Its crazy and I don’t understand what to do.
Please suggest what to do. I see in one of the plant the new leaves at the bottom are drying. And I noticed just one or 2 white very tiny spider like pest.
Check these pics:
Those are all covered in powdery mildew. You need to start an IPM regiment to keep that at bay. If your relative humidity is too high you are going to have a bad time. You really needed some actual autos, this is why its very important to get beans via reputable breeders, this is going to be a horrible first time growing experience for you and you may bot get any flower in the end because that mildew is a big problem and very bad for your lungs if it is smoked. God speed on getting these to the finish line
Spray for pm?
can you suggest something that I can spray immediately to help the plants? May be soap water?
I will get neem oil in 2-3 days.
Oosh yea, you got a battle ahead w that much pm already. Sulfur spray for that. I would start the IPM outside w that immediately.
When you are ready to move them inside you will need a way to regulate the humidity levels to stay under at most 65-70%rh (50%rh is better). Two basic options are an exhaust fan on either a timer or temp control or a sealed space w air Conditioner and de-humidifier and/ or some combo of both.
@JoeCrowe is the man PM fears. Maybe he can offer some advice.
As long as the plants are a manageable size and not in bloom, you can eradicate the mildew with 2 sulfur sprays 14 days apart. I mix 1 tablespoon of 90%+ sulfur in a liter of water and spray that all over the plants. Do it again 14 days later and the mildew is toast.
Here’s the thing though. You will need to eradicate the mildew next year with one of the following methods:
A half a tablespoon will work. Never spray in bloom and never spray within 30 days of an oil based application. IF you perform task 1 or 2, it will end your mildew infestation for good, as long as you never bring in infected plant material.
Ok so I’ll spray liquid Sulfur today. Then should I wait few days for next spary of (Neem oil+ isopropyl+Bronners soap)?
wow that sounds complicated! so I need to buy a tent, light and then dehumidifiers?
Man I wanted this to be on budget and now all this
Does this work? https://amzn.eu/d/b8ne2az
Or I should opt for a fan or something else?
And do I really need a sensor to check the humidity?
Thanks a lot for the support bro!
