Do you suggest to wash leaves after 1-2 days, to remove the stains from sulphur spray?
I would leave it on there, I never wash it off. Just make sure you don’t spray anything else on there while you are killing off the mildew. Anything oil based will still burn the plants.
- Are they ready to flower?
- Should I start flowering nutrients?
- Can I still do second round of sulphur spray?
- Do I need to water more? as some leaves were turning yellow?
Dont ever rely on reddit for information.
Too much bro-science with no based studies
Nice work @FlyingYogi they are looking much better!
-
Yes they have already started flowering. Looks like buds are already beginning to develop. That usually takes a couple weeks of flower cycle to get to.
-
Yes, but maybe 1/2 and 1/2 still at this point. In another week or two make the shift to full on flower nutrient

I’d say you’re at the cut-off time now. If you think there’s still chance of mold or mildew present; one more spray. But, I would mainly focus on the medium and lower sections of the plants. I would avoid any flower clusters as much as possible. Sulfur will not taste good and is not recommended to smoke it. From what I see in the pics, I would prob skip another sulfur spray myself.
-
Mmm, hard to say. But in general the new growth looks good, so I wouldn’t be too worried. It seems like you are watering appropriately. Some plants will just use and discard older leaves, I would just clip them.
In veg you really want to let a plant start to dry out a bit before watering again. As you get into full on flower; water needs will often increase. Try to give it what it wants, aka get a sense of how fast it is drinking. Don’t let it dry back quite as hard during mid flower. Then when the plants starts to get near the end of its life cycle, it will start to drink less. Don’t over water at the end.
If you haven’t done the second spray, do it ASAP. Without the second spray, the mildew might survive. 50/50 chance.
yeah kinda I’m also sceptic that everything is killed. So is it fine to just spray the lower sections?
Anything you’re not going to smoke will be ok to spray. Someone else told me they wash the sulfur off after harvest if any gets on the buds.
Need your urgent help!
I noticed one plant has PM again. Its so crazy I think its from the neighbours plants or pots.
It on only one plant. Other plants are ok. I have separated them, by separating I mean on the same balcony just different corner.
The buds are already sticky, do you think I can harvest in 1 week? Please guide what to do?
That plant looks pretty infested! I have a few questions. Where did you get the plants? When did you notice the infestation first?
Hypochlorous Acid if you can get it.
That plant needs quite a bit more than a week and has a bad case of pm there. I’d get it far away from the others asap. Might be time to
If you’re determined to keep going, cut out all affected leaves and any big fan leaves down low. Open up the inside space around the stalk for better air flow. Also make a spray w isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide and prepare to snip and spray as soon as you see any sign of pm coming back. Might not be worth the effort though
Me personally would not move outside plants inside. They are already on a light schedule. Like @Pigeonman said you might bring in more than you want.
To emphasis what @Hemp said and as another option if you plan ahead.
I’ve made new clones of everything that I had outside just as everything started to go into flowering to bring inside this winter.
Granted i now I have a sea of solocups to deal with but I am getting to my selections in the next few weeks so I can downsize as I take 2-3 cuts per plant to then make sure I have 1 solid representation.
For the extra work put in, there’s not a single problem from outside brought inside as cuts can be treated for fuckery a lot easier than a whole plant.
I bought it at Mary Jane festival in Berlin. Then noticed PM first time after the plants were around 3 months old
So I have no other space. I’ll have to move infested plant inside. I can put it near the window in other room.
I checked they have Hypochlorous acid spray for face. Would that work?
Or
Is there any chance to save it with Neem oil, isopropyl alcohol and Castile soap immediately?
Or do you suggest to ? And in that case would these buds be of any use?
What do you suggest for other plants? as a precaution?
Ahh yes, the plant you bought was infested with mildew. Now the shit has journeyed to your place on the plant. Where it goes, contamination follows. I’m actually surprised the mildew survived the sulfur. How did that happen?
Ain’t nothing wrong with that
These were all started outside. Germinated outside and spent 35 days outside im 3" square seedling pots and 2 liter pots.
As Long as you do regular sprays of neem and soaps of fatty acid, you won’t have hitchhikers.
Neem is a no no for me while in flower.
I suspect yes, check the ingredients, if it’s pure Hypochlorous then your prob fine to use it. It is also sold as a cleaner / disinfectant. It is similar to bleach and can actually convert to bleach w a rise in ph so I don’t suggest mixing w anything but distilled water.
Check out this link for more info
Again, I don’t use neem in flower, but the isopropyl and Castile soap can help w PM but is not great alone at wiping it out. The hypochlorous is more effective. I use both alternating for my outdoor plants while in flower.
Good air flow, fans plus pruning interior of plant, and moderate 50ish rH is desired. Spray in morning before light is too intense.
You gotta make the call on when it’s time to chop, I prob would if it were me w these constraints. And no those buds look to young to be of much value to me.
Do you think I can harvest them already? I have found the source of PM, its not my plants but neighbours plants, but whatever. So if I harvest now will they be any good? And any guide for harvesting at this stage?
Hello @catapult
I really need your help here. I was busy with super busy life and I see mild infection on other two plants also. Although I have figured out that they are at almost harvesting stage. Is it ok if I use Hypochlorous acid on the buds? Or do you recommend Hydronperoxide?
According to the post you shared they say HOCL more effective than H2O2.
Please HELP!!!
