I’m not saying Purpinator works…

But I’ve used it a couple of times and it usually introduces some purple. Granted all the strains I’ve grown have had some variation of purple genetics, this PBB x Gelato x C99 is starting to turn, and I just started adding purpinator to my inputs about a week ago. I’m at day 50 now.

Why would you want to turn a non purple strain purple?

Bag appeal :v:

If you want to turn your plants to turn purple, when they are really starting to flower, crank your phosphorus up. 15-30-15 or even 10-50-10, you will have your purple. It’s an old “trick” some growers would use for exactly that, bag appeal.
Don’t do it too early, or too much. I hit em once, the. 2 weeks or 10 days later, and that’s it.

Terpinator and Purpinator
terpinator is use to increase terpenes’s and essential oils in your plants
Purpinator is use to bring out the colors assoicated with your specific stain
have use both with good results, utone thing I have found id to use ony in flower (save you product till flower, even tho is say use in veg)

Humbolt County’s Own line has both products in them - their Purpple Max and Snow Storm - The sample pack line go’s for $125.00 + but can be gotten for $70.00 This company has been around for years - Have tried many lines and give “thumbs-up” for Humbolt. If interested will give you name of comlany that offers the $70.00 pack, Just let me mention one other nutrient “Massive Bloom” by Green Planet (their flagship product) this realy increase bud size, ect ( it’s like “triacontinal” which is a natrual plant growth stimmulator by mixing Kelp, alalfala, humic acid and enzymens)(brew for at least 24hr.s)

NO - it increases the natural color of you specific strain - is also states something about oils, ect but it’s prime use is to bring out the strain color Nice bud !!! Nice grow !!!

Does it work with other plants? Will it make my red tomatoes more red?

It’s supposed to encourage the production of anthocyanins which aren’t specific to only cannabis so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work :man_shrugging:

Used it on one plant this run to test, got minimal color. The plants grown without it naturally went dark purp. The purpinate gave my trichomes some tint but that’s about it. 1st 2 pics are natural carmelita and second set is purpinator carmelita

I truly dont know if it was the purpinator, natural day 50ish fade, or the temps around here getting drastically colder at night. Alot of possibilities. Over the summer I fed this same strain fucktons of it with little result. I wouldnt purchase it again. I didnt see definitive results tbh.

Your genetics is 1st and then cold temps help also, some folks drop temp 5% two weeks before harvest and then another 5% one week before harvest.

Hypro Widow 13, 550-600 PPM’s Master Blend tomato food, veg to transition, @ transition I add Moribloom, with final reading at week 3, to be 700-750 PPM’s.
Moribloom gives me some free PH down effects.
I’ll add myco’s/molasses (TBL/10 g’s water) once or twice during a cycle.
I usually always use either well water or dehuey water to mix.
Very basic for me, over adding additives.

Sounds like a waste of money unless you’re selling to people that pay more for purple strains. Even then……ehhh I’m not buying any

Its just for me. I am fascinated by the colors and want as much as possible. Just a personal preference, but Im with you on not buying purple strains. Everytime Ive ever bought a purple bag Ive been mad except when it was Grandaddy Purp and that was barely purple at all but it tasted “purple”

I dunno, I grew some of this this year, ended up with a green and a purple, the two options you usually get from this seed. Dutch passion, Shaman
