So how are you going to outcross the haze to the sativa?
Imo throw a couple of your best females in with your haze open pollination.
The F2 should give a lot of variation to work through.

If I grow Fruity Pebbles Iām calling it Fruity Pebbles. Itās not a coincidence so many plants smell like Fruity Pebbles. Thatās its flavor. Thereās no complexity. No stretch of the imagination required. End users donāt care about branch structure or flowering period. They care about the end product, how every normal person categorizes products, by the end use.
Also, lime and orange arenāt OG Kush. Donāt care what genetics it came from. If it came from OG and smells like Sprite, donāt call it OG Kush. I donāt know why pot growers have turned into classic car clowns, where nothing is better than some story about buying the car from Felix dealership and needing that Felix license plate frame to be valuable. Even tho the car is coated in rust. Iāll take the nicer car without the dealership bumper stickers.
Yeahā¦Hazeā¦thatās the thing!!! it was breed to be workedā¦thatās why there are so many āHazesā why the name is so large.
But again, the manner in which it was breed lends itself to diversity in the line, thatās the point. When the haze line was crafted it was done so that many people and growers could benefitā¦not everyone is going to have the same stuff, itās all going to be diverse. Thatās is also why it is so intriguing to recross the various haze strains. And hopefully, since the line was breed for diversity by Sam, when recombined something totally new, unique and awesome will come out of it.
This is also why it is important to distinguish between pure Hazes and haze crosses.
Iām going to be so bold , as to say if you havenāt found a good Haze you either arenāt looking or you arenāt breeding it. Itās not about āhazeā being great, itās about the product of your haze being great!
Iām not sure how what you are saying relates to the point I was trying to make unless you are supporting my statement nor have I ever described og kush as orange or lime.
I hold original cuts of og kush and am well aware of what it does and does not smell or taste like.
